Apparently Trump is searching for a serious legal team to head up the indictment charges that appear to be on the horizon, and all the well established powerful law firms in Washington, all of whom would normally be honored to represent a former president, are turning Trump down.

    Why?

    1. He's a problem client, doesn't listen, doesn't take advice. Talks too much, makes crap up as he goes along, shoots from the hip, gets into petty squabbles with his detractors, and lies a lot. He is his own worst enemy.

    2. He's notorious nor not paying lawyers.

Legal heavy hitters reject Trump as investigation heats up, WaPo reporter says

    https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics...struggles-wapo-arnsdorf-new-day-intvu-vpx.cnn

Nine pro-Trump lawyers ordered to pay $175,000 for sham election lawsuit

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/dec/03/donald-trump-lawyers-election-lawsuit-sanctions

Trump is probably the only President in history who esteemed law firms won't take as a client, and what does that tell us about Trump? That tells me he is unfit to hold an office of public trust.

What's he need them for? He's got all the armchair lawyer support right here in these forums that apparently know more about the law than any if them.
    Trump...what a clown.

That's not Karma. If anything, it is a manifestation of leftist corruption.

Being an old school Liberal as you frequently assert, you are supposed to be a strong proponent of the old school ACLU where representation even of one's mortal enemy was a cherished civil right. Those days are long gone, and you sound giddy about it.

That would sound like you support one sided "justice" where the targeted person does not get a defense.

No, with Trump, it's 'what goes around comes around'.

That lawyers representing him 'might become a target' is because of Trump, not anything the lawyers deserved.

If you are so concerned about corruption then direct your attention to Trump who is the most corrupt president in history and republican White Houses are
    the most criminal in history.

Haha, that's a good one. More likely, they are shying away because they know the cases are unwinnable and the chance is high they won't get paid.

Yes, you said that already when you called it Karma.

Look, I know that you hate Trump. The entire board knows that you hate Trump.

I wrote a sort quip to you that said..." Being an old school Liberal as you frequently assert, you are supposed to be a strong proponent of the old school ACLU where representation even of one's mortal enemy was a cherished civil right. Those days are long gone, and you sound giddy about it

Did you bother to respond to my singular point from a short post? OF COURSE NOT!

True to my assertion that you have a god awful case of TDS, you instead decided to change the subject to your view that Trump is the most corrupt President in history and you conveyed this with the obligatory big colorful memes created by god knows who.

Do you not see the folly in your actions? You are otherwise intelligent, but when it comes to TRUMP, you lose your ever-loving mind! Get help. Sincerely.

Heard the same garbage during impeachments 1 and 2.

Yet he managed to win both times.

Maybe that's because the typical Beltway bandits won't talk to him.

That's exactly what it is and that's exactly why the democrats go after each and every attorney that represents Trump or his associates. Exactly.

Don't you know? EVERYTHING that is bad in Republicans' lives is the Dems fault. The typical victim mentality.

Just a few... Notice crime boss Joe Biden is not on the list... neither is Obama for his participation in a failed coup attempt on an American citizen and then a duly elected president using the US government agencies... or his involvement in the Hillary email server issue...

Flynn, Manafort, Cohen, Giuliani, diGenova, Powell, Page, Toensing, Bannon, Navaro, Clark, Eastman, Perry, O'Keefe, Stone, Papadopoulos, Weisselberg, Barrack, Ellis..... etc.

He was saved twice by a Republican Senate.

    That's hardly a feat.

The ACLU and I believe everyone deserves competent and capable representation. Everyone does not deserve the best law firm hundreds of thousands of dollars can buy. I am perfectly comfortable if his representation is no better than the local public defender's office. Let him wait several weeks to get his first call back for a 5 minute call, and he can first meet his attorney at the arraignment, just like everyone else. By the way, it all goes downhill from there, and NONE of it is the fault of the attorney or the office.
