Like us Canadians....... due to our ties to Great Britain and the English Monarchy...... they considered WWII to be their war....... their responsibility.

Australia has a good entertainment industry unknown to the outside world but its primetime TV shows are mostly American imports, which I always preferred to Aussie TV shows that were harder to understand. I think Australia would become a better country when it's more Americanized like Canada, where people speak American, by making a clean break from the past.
