Just postponing the inevitable, we have had the innovation, especially in accounting and manipulating the masses, now its time for businesses to cash in on investment. They have spent years getting us into debt so we can't complain, strike or even retire. Our kids have to be put into childcare so we can all work to pay back the money to the wealthy, but of course we can always borrow more money to pay our debts until the 1% totally own our r'ses.
The CIA are the whores of the wealthy manipulating entire nations so we can get the goodies cheap. Problem is wars are becoming to expensive.
Now I have already asked this question in a new thread I have started, which is still a work in progress but the question is also relevant in this thread.
You charge him rent for the land, the cops charge him with kidnapping/ false imprisonment, you sue him for pain and suffering for you and your family. What you used your land for is irrelevant- he had no right to it. The land he bought is from the proceeds of crime so it is forfeited to the Crown/government/police. I get the feeling this is a trick question.
Australia, USA etc. We came, we took at the point of a gun, we miss-treated the traditional owners, we made a motsa from the country, we blame them for being the way they are, we are totally living on the proceeds of crime. Very little difference really.
Now most people say "Look at what we have given them, millions and millions", and that is true, most of it was mismanaged by the agents in charge of the money, even so, it is a small compensation for the billions we have made
Wealth disparity is one of the primary causes of revolutions. It was a driver behind the French and Russian revolutions and the Arab Spring. When wealth is "shared" amongst those that are the actual "producers" of that wealth everyone benefits. When only the "owners" benefit the results are growing levels of poverty and unrest. Right now we are heading for more wealth disparity driven unrest IMO.
Especially when the middle class realise that their wealth isn't real. Maybe not us, but I fear our children and grandchildren are in for a rocky ride. Then again I am older than most of you.
I am no spring chicken either! Yes, dumping the burden on the kids and grandkids is despicable IMO. Tax rates on the wealthy need to be reset to what they were before and a special National Debt Surtax imposed that is a percentage of the National Debt to be paid down in 20 years. I suspect that when the wealthy have to start paying for their own warmongering and looting it will come to a quick halt.
I think we need to do a lot more than reset the tax rates, we need to get rid of all the tax perks that are only really available to the rich, tax every cent sent to offshore tax havens at 50%, crack down more o'seas companies taking our money and not paying tax. We need to restructure the government and policies in a way to minimise corruption as much as possible, make them more accountable and approachable. There is a lot to fix this, it's more than interest rates, its CIA, it's big money ... very big money. Doesn't CIA stand for Commercial Interests of America? I just don't want to see adjustments made like the last two we had in 1914 and 1939
I also watched Australia with Nicole Kidman, Quigley Down Under with Tom Selleck, The Man from Snowy River and return of same. And know how poor William Bligh was treated by the locals. BTW my connection is less.
Australia's were hardly as threatening as the Native American. That's why Aussie's didn't need guns as settlers did. Should you watch, "Texas Rising" series, there is a scene where the Comanche raid and burn the capitol, Austin. It was the way of the American way from the time of Plymouth colony ref: King Phillip's War https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plymouth_Colony#King_Philip's_War Moi And then there is the way
Well I watched "Japanese Story" with Toni Collette https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_Story and enlightened her. I mean Australia did sell their Lord given natural gas so that a Japanese consumer pays less per BTU than an Australian domestic consumer for Australian natural gas. Go figure. What connection do you want? I want someone who has personally witnessed, Alice Springs, Australia. I saw some dull, British series about that place. Makes Tombstone, Arizona look like Eden. How about some "real" Aussies who suffer living north of the southern most coastal zones and mountain ranges. Real "Outback" suburbanites. In California that's around Bakersfield, Riverside, San Bernardino, Like Palm Desert, just outside of Palm Springs. In the same economic circumstances I would choose to live in the California Northwest. Humboldt County as opposed to those places.
What we need for you is a poster from Coober Pedy. They live underground there. https://www.australia.com/en-us/places/adelaide-and-surrounds/guide-to-coober-pedy.html
I am trying to determine WHO IS THE of the Southern Hemisphere. More on that here, http://politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/is-it-true-part-deux.495478/ And the vitality of this thread, unlike the linked one above, demonstrates the pent up energy finally expressing itself about, Australia. Si?
