I am glad your your admitting it's mostly Christians getting abortions and that you not disputing that, so if the right wants to reduce abortions, the biggest bang for their buck is getting Christians to stop having abortions

Kind of difficult to do that when 90% of the population don't even go to church, with strong evidence that they don't practice their proclaimed faith.

Well I wouldn't take "90%" as a fact, although its definitely most of the country. What would you have guessed?

No, the subject of the thread is about children born out of wedlock, which you have been totally unable to credibly link to single parenthood. You're seeing a correlation which you simply cannot back up with data.

I would of guessed about 40% of Christians still went to church

Edit : guess even lower then that, I thought I was a bit low

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_attendance

"What percentage of Americans attend church weekly?
In 2013, the Pew Research Center reported that 37% of all Americans attended church on a weekly basis. In its turn, Gallup estimated the once-a-week church attendance of the Americans in 2013 as 39%."

Once largely limited to poor women and minorities, single motherhood is now becoming the new “norm”.

This prevalence is due in part to the growing trend of children born outside marriage — a societal trend that was virtually unheard of decades ago.

About 4 out 10 children were born to unwed mothers.1 Nearly two-thirds were born to mothers under the age of 30.2

Today 1 in 4 children under the age of 18 — a total of about 17.2 million — are being raised without a father.3

Of all single-parent families in the U.S., single mothers make up the majority.

According to 2017 U.S. Census Bureau,4 out of about 12 million single parent families with children under the age of 18, more than 80% were headed by single mothers.

Around half of single mothers have never married, 29% are divorced, 21% are either separated or widowed.

Exactly. "In part." And the size of this part is not specified.

Why can't these 4 out of 10 children be living NOW with a mother and a father?

So you can see how it would be difficult to get "Christians to stop having abortions" as you suggested.

I like how you left out the part about 80% being single mother households, lol. Go back to your bubble. Have a good day.

I couldn't agree more that this is a bad thing, but I left it out because it said: "more than 80% were headed by single mothers." It did NOT say, more than 80% were headed by single mothers WHO HAD THEIR CHILD OUT OF WEDLOCK!
