Already Tom Perez is demonizing Trump.

“Someday they’re going to study this era of American history,” Perez said after his victory. They’re going to ask the question of all of us: Where were you in 2017, when we had the worst president in the history of the United States? We will be able to say that the Democratic Party led the resistance, and made sure this was a one-term president.”

 

Good. Perez needs to kick some serious azz in the next four years, if Donnie somehow survives the White House that long. Which is highly doubtful.

 

Democrats are making the same mistakes over and over. Giving into they're emotions and stooping to the same old, tired cliches of insult, insult, insult.

How do you expect Perez to draw anyone to the Democratic party with THAT type of rhetoric?

Do some reading on mid-terms. The folks funding the people whipping up the left right now will long since have run out of money by Nov 2018.

 

Actually, this strategy won't help to attract independents or millennials, and it may not be sufficient to keep some Democrats from rethinking their allegiances.

That remains to be seen. I suspect much will depend on the man-child's ability to accomplish what he said he would accomplish during the campaign. (It's a rather bold an innovative idea, telling people what you plan to do and then actually doing it...).

No one needs to go out of their way to demonize Trump...they only need to tell the truth about him and his deeds. Trump's reputation precedes him and that is enough to show how he has successfully demonized himself.

It wouldn't matter WHO is president, if he/she is a republican, then dems and liberal media will demonize them as best they can. They have resorted to lies to the point where the media has the least trust in the history of polling such data.

The American people have figured it out, yet dems are doubling down on the idiotic strategy. I predict the republicans will have a Senate SUPER MAJORITY after 2018. And dems will once again think "they didn't get the message out to the people."

I've had trouble imagining someone so stupid as to insult the boss during a job interview.
But that's what Hillary, and the rest of the DNC has done since the beginning of the last election cycle. I knew Hillary was toast when she campaigned in Pennsylvania talking about killing the coal industry. (Asked my wife "is she that stupid? And who would want somebody that stupid in charge?")
And the she doubledowned, and called half the American people deplorable, and unredeemable.
