    Hi guys,

I'm a white French guy in his late 20's, who's really interested in what the current political landscape has become.

The best description of my political beliefs is Alt-Left, or Alt-Light. I used to be a mainstream liberal, who progressively became redpilled about the dangers of progressivism and globalism when I saw how the left handled illegal immigration and bigotry from minorities. The massive scam of the wars in Irak and Syria were also a great element to waking me up. I've been against affirmative action/feminism since I was a kid and I think the election of Trump was a godsend to smash political correctness in the US and restore true equality of opportunity.
    Now I vote Front National.

I'm pretty "conservative" on social issues, but I'm no right-winger since I'm left-wing on economics, environmentalism, anti-gun, pro-choice, secular atheist, etc. More like a classical liberal. Before liberalism was infected by progressivism.

I'm a Western nationalist (cultural nationalist). I'm openly pro-white, but I'm no white nationalist. I believe that Western countries should defend their identity against islamization, mass immigration and communautarianism/anti-white bigotry. However I'm an assimilationist, not a racial nationalist. I think we can easily preserve a white majority through severely cutting immigration, maintaining our cultural identity, welfare reforms, and avoiding excessive race mixing. I'm against multiculturalism but pro multiracialism with a white majority and a common identity.

Don't bunch me up with the Nazi/KKK/racist crowd, I have little in common with these people. I oppose anti-white racism (which manifests itself in ethnic replacement) without becoming a racist myself.

I hope we can have interesting discussions!

    Welcome.

At least you don't buy the line that "only White people can be racist/bigoted/supremacist and so forth.

I can usually quiet the diversity crowd by asking them what nations and cities have too many Asians in them, have too many Blacks, too many Hispanics....that need to be removed.

    Thanks!

It seems I can't even use the word "alt-left" anymore. Trump just destroyed the term by using it for antifa scum. Of course there's nothing "alternative" about the mainstream Democrat party lol.

This was what it meant before it got dragged into the sewer.

Raclette is the right cheese, but idk if you can find that in the US. I only discovered when traveling abroad that France is the country of cheese (more than frogs' legs, few people eat that really).

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raclette

Melt it in a pan, and dip fried bread into it. It's really that simple. White wine is good with it.

    Welcome!

If a group stands against another group, yet employs the tactics of the group they oppose, do you think it's reasonable, or does that negate the first group's position?

Question is a bit too general. It all depends on the tactics themselves, doesn't it?

If that group's tactics is distributing propaganda fliers to spread their message, then it's reasonable to distribute propaganda fliers against them.

If that group's tactics is to own the mainstream media, then it's reasonable to own the Internet.

If that group's tactics is making fake news, then no it's not reasonable to make fake news ourselves.

If that group's tactics is to ethnically cleanse whites, then no it's not reasonable to ethnically cleanse non-whites in response XD

The tactics used, are tactics the first group stands against.

    Yes.

I'm not a historical Front National voter at all. I'm a new voter. Traditionally left-wing. I switched when I discovered the imposture of globalism and the fact that they've been calling it out for decades.

How so? I would never say that to someone with different political beliefs.

Do we have a political difference, yet?

Some people, most actually, devalue their "welcome" with liberal expressions of welcome to everyone.
I value mine. You got yours. ;)
What else is there to say except, hey our opinions on "welcome" differ.

    Hello :)

You sound a bit like moi (that's French, incidentally). At least, I don't know if I'm 'alt-left' or just plain old hippie/commie. I'm a dedicated leftist, but hold to the traditional ideals of leftism: democratic socialism, liberalism, and regard for the 'working classes'.

I have chosen to avoid Progressivism, given it is so proscriptive. I've been daily horrified to see so many fellow leftists begin the awful slide towards discriminatory politics. We are no longer the caring and inclusive side, we are now the sneering elitist and prejudiced side. We have become the Religious Right.

Really, I learned all I need to, from the emboldened. Whatever distance you want to put, between you and an old fashioned racist, you erased when you decided that your goal was to 'preserve a white majority'. That is pretty racist on its face. Its annoying how much honey you pour on that.

    I'm against guns in Europe.

I know that guns are a big part of American tradition so I don't think it's a good idea to remove that right. However the US has IMO a serious problem of vigilante mentality among gun owners (e.g shooting "trespassers" on sight), and more than 10 times more police killings per capita than Europe.

Overall, I'm in favor of non-lethal weapons for self-defense. While I understand the will to defend yourself, for me the difference between good guys and bad guys is that good guys want to stun people, not kill them.

Yeah. The economic left is pretty solid, it just starts sucking when it starts to talk about race relations :)

This is mostly a problem in the US since the Democrat party is the party of minorities and identity politics. Of course the minorities are just being sold snake oil to get their vote. They need to snap out of the matrix and you can get a purely economic/environmentalist/pro freedom left wing.

Socialism in the US is just not going to happen, but universal healthcare is a good idea. It works well in France and Europe in general.

See? Exactly what I'm talking about.

For you, the ethnic replacement of an entire race against their will is not racism, but opposing that ethnic replacement is racism.

Because of course, only white people can be racist.

If someone attacks me, I am going to kill them. End of story. I'm not going to wait to find out his intentions. If you take away guns from law abiding people, then ONLY the criminals and the government have them. Does that sound like a good idea?

Thanks for proving my point. If someone punches you, you're going to shoot him dead. Excessive force and vigilante mentality.

And what's your argument for allowing citizens to own LETHAL weapons, over non-lethal weapons?

Yes, I'm a 5 foot tall woman. If a man punches me and starts attacking me, you bet I'm going to use an equalizer. Excessive force my butt!
