I watched the clip. It was more stupidity from crappy SNL writers. Weekend update used to be funny when Norm Macdonald was the anchor.

I think Trump is a buffoon and a size 42 clown shoes.

He's a comedy goldmine, but the left can't put away their psycho rage for long enough to make some actually funny fun of him.

The reason the Left is no longer funny (FTR, I'm old enough to remember when being a successful comedian meant being thoroughly even-handed in your ridicule of politics and politicians. You had to be OUTSIDE of politics, else you'd never make it) is that much of their work now has a very cheesy aftertaste of self-righteousness. Something like sour wit, with a side of Church Lady tsk-tskery.

Being so certain that they had the unimpeachable moral high ground, is what drove them to risk their art. And they lost their art, in so doing. It's now just an alternate propaganda organ. It has the taint of 'Christian Rock'. The falsity of the 'Infomercial'.

Comedy (the stuff which is actually funny) gives no quarter to ANYONE. That's what unbiased means. You either can't remember how much funnier comedy is when there are no Safe Spaces, or have never seen it.
