Blacks usually get the justice they deserve

When they try to beat up a cop and take his gun away they might get shot

Based on her comments, she has racist tendencies. She shot Botham because she knew who he was and she hated the idea of him living directly above her because it made her feel inferior. So, when her favorite sex partner stood her up she flew into a murderous rage and killed Botham as payback. Women (and men) do stuff like that every day. The news is full of similar stories.

 

Some people lack empathy, especially for black people because they simply hate them. Consequently, it is usually a waste of time discussing black/white racial issues with them because they will never admit the humanity of black people. They wouldn't get upset if a white thug cop shot a one day-old black baby if the cop said that he feared for his life. OTOH, they might fly into a rage if the same cop was to shoot a cute dog. This is what people are revealing about themselves in this case. They simply don't value the lives of black people as humans.

 

If anything demonstrated the humanity of black people it was the victim impact statement of the murdered man’s brother. Forgiveness, redemption, love, the true tenants of Christianity were clearly demonstrated in that statement. Some of our phony Christian white nationalists could learn a lot from that man.

 

Amen brother. That was awesome. That was a display of forgiveness overpowering hate. Botham's 18 year old younger brother showed so much character that I would be troubled trying to find a similar act. The Jean's parents must be incredible. To raise a son with the compassion and forgiveness that was demonstrated in that Dallas courtroom on Wednesday afternoon speaks volumes of the parents. You know we live in a loving society when such a tragic event has the outcome that touches a nation.

I would walk to Mars before I forgave a thug cop who murdered my brother in cold blood like Amber did to Botham. I would do some good Old Testament imprecatory swearing.

 

Of course the thug cops are behind the murder, either directly or as employers of the hit man. They might kill some more people involved in the case.

Was it proven in court that it was a malfunction or just not properly closed by the occupant. I know there was testimony by others of their doors and/or locks malfunctioning but was it proven this was a malfunction?

Bad news this morning. Botham Jean's neighbor across the hall, Joshua Brown, was killed in what appears to be a driveby shooting with a silver sedan speeding away. He was a key witness, praised by the prosecution as one of the few willing to come forward. The news is not clear where the location of the shooting was.
