If an African American or Latino tries to make something of their life by going to school or what have you they're literally accused of, "acting white," by their homies in the neighborhood.

Maybe in very poor areas, but the blacks and latinos I know are very driven and materialistic. FWIW I know where your post comes from.

As you would expect from the smaller numbers who make a courageous jump and choose to live apart from their community.

If you have a black man living 40 miles away from the nearest center of black culture, he's probably doing so for a good career opportunity.
In fact I would even venture to guess the average black guy living in a virtually all white neighborhood probably has a bit more intelligence than the average white people living there.

 

Where I live there are no segregated communities based on race, only social class.

There is a city an hour away that has black ghettos and it is pretty bad.

I wish I had more insight into this but it's not an easy subject. Very complicated.

 

Asians only comprise 5% of the population yet make 117% more than Caucasians.

Latinos comprise about 17% of the population and African Americans comprise around 13% of the population.

If white people are privileged because they are a majority then how do liberals explain Asian Americans?

 

asians put a higher value on education than the white right... the trump base arrogantly calling the educated as "elites"...the nerve of those people striving to do well... and now you know...

 

It's pretty easy, actually, not complicated. The OP believes in an urban myth. Black people overall, whether living in poor black neighborhoods or wealthy white neighborhoods have nothing against ambition or education. People can muse about this fantasy all day long but I have never met a black person who said I want my children to be unsuccessful.

 

Generally speaking, people live in poor housing because that's what they can afford, not because of a lack of desire for more wealth.

IMHO I hope you can consider how you juuuuust might be inadvertently confusing Ambition, with White Privilege, in light of the reality that this society this country this nation is not controlled by HISP and especially is not controlled by African Americans.


But guess which group, it is in fact controlled by?? Yes, we all know which group.

Which means every citizen within that "controlling" group, get to wake each day, to empirical tangible proof that our "Ambitions" have a greater chance of coming to fruition.


That makes a heck of a difference when [Latinos HISP Blacks] have to silently watch a society unfairly favor a specific group, for centuries, then somehow blame it all on those who are not within that favored group.

 

That's likely because Asians are in fact, Caucasian people, and that is the nucleus of their success in America.

If you had a European Caucasian girl and a Chinese/Eurasian girl, cover their eyes, then you would not be able to tell which is the European Caucasian girl. As a matter of fact, Euro-Caucasian men in America who IR-date, most often marry White Asian women. That is not coincidental.

I think it is very important to understand that Asians who have the Whitest, skin color are the most successful Asians in America. Their ambition is off the charts, once they are born looking Eurasian.

 

Do you believe the accomplishments of white men are a result of their, "privilege,' and not their individual effort???

It makes sense the most successful Empires and world powers were in or made up of people from Europe: Greeks, Spain, Portuguese, English, Dutch, Rome and Byzantium as examples plus the United States the mightiest global power currently.
