Thats why I said Russia to an extent. I am aware they meddle. Syria especially but Syria invites them. And Afghanistan in past as other places.
And they have had to deal with terrorism. But not to the extent the West deals with it.

I uphold your right to your misinformed opinion on the matter but the INDISPUTABLE FACTS prove that your IMPOTUS is the AGGRESSOR when it comes to Iran.

Russia also supported regimes in Algeria, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Yemen, Iraq and Iran in addition to Syria and Afghanistan. Look at a map, that is more than 'an extent', that is well beyond US interference and it utterly dwarfs any post-colonial non-US Western interference.

So, if you are trying to explain certain types of terrorist attacks on US/Western targets and lack of attacks by the same groups on the USSR & China based on interference in those nations it just isn't going to work. If you want to start somewhere rampant anti-semitism & the willingness of regional governments to use Israel as a convenient whipping boy is a good place. Then, maybe, look at the role of the USSR in actually supporting terrorist groups in the 60s & 70s in particular. Then look at the list I gave you of Soviet-backed ME regimes. Then maybe move on to the importance of the Iranian revolution and its anti-Western rhetoric in shaping other fundamentalist movements.

    Getting it yet?

I guess we have so many extra soldiers, Trump is renting them out to other countries rather then bring them home

    https://www.rollingstone.com/politi...rican-troops-to-saudi-arabia-for-cash-936623/

"“Saudi Arabia is paying us for [our troops]. We have a very good relationship with Saudi Arabia,” Trump said. “I said, listen, you’re a very rich country. You want more troops? I’m going to send them to you, but you’ve got to pay us. They’re paying us. They’ve already deposited $1 billion in the bank.”"

There is no aggression by Iran. Iran has only been assisting its regional neighbors through proxy militias, intelligence, and support/aid. It's important not only for regional security & stability, but for Iran's security as well. The U.S. wouldn't like it if Russians invaded Mexico & Canada, then set up bases there...Hm?

    What a silly argument.

The majority of Europeans killed in Europe's history were killed by Europeans just the same. Here are some of the numerous wars (including WWI & WWII) in European history beginning in 1455:

    https://www.preceden.com/timelines/71548-european-wars

And don't forget the crusades (first crusades beginning around 1095–1099), the Inquisition, and European witch trials, Protestant vs Catholic violence, Christian violence against Jews...not to mention the numerous revolts & revolutions.

If Africa or the ME militarily invaded Europe, would you justify the killing of Europeans by pointing to Europe's already lengthy history of domestic in-fighting/killing?

Christians have been committing widespread violence since the first crusades began. Today, Christian nations still impose their imperialistic dominance & continue to spread their violence around the world.

Muslims have also had a long history of being persecuted. See link:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persecution_of_Muslims

As far as the true origins of Islam, including the question of the "prophet" Muhammed's existence, this is still under much speculation, research, and debate among scholars.

You mean like virtually every European monarchy...also the Roman emperors, Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, imperial Japan, N. Korea, governments of Southeast Asia, etc? And let's not ignore the oppressive & brutal regimes prior to Islam.

Certainly a govt. doesn't have to be Islamic to be oppressive. Even the U.S. govt. can be considered oppressive if one considers that the establishment, ruled by an international consortium of old-money trillionaire families that own/run the global banking network, is shielded from public scrutiny & auditing by a thick layer of bureaucratic role players...most of whom have sold their souls to serve the bankers.

The Crusades were at best an ill conceived, half baked and largely innocuous response to nearly 250 years of unprovoked assaults against the nominally Christian Byzantine Empire.

The government will keep disseminating incomplete, and disinformation over MSM, because they know that the majority of people will believe anything out of their mouth without question. Remember the 2KY bug nonsense, prohibition, battleships being attacked, WMD's in Iraq, or the funding of genetically modified flying piranhas? Our government is more a denier of the truth, than a promoter of the truth. We are under the mistaken belief, that the majority of our leaders, are intelligent, altruistic, moral, prudent, and will put "the needs of the many, above the needs of the few". Like Tulsi says, we have a government, that is "of the rich and powerful, by the rich and powerful, and for the rich and powerful. I wonder what the median salary is for all of our elected leaders? I mean, really, entrepreneurs, Multi-Millionaires and Billionaires, all vying to represent the 80% poor and middleclass in America? I'm sure these people have long-since forgotten, what the word "struggle" means to the average American. This is like listening to a child sing the blues, who has never experienced the blues. What we seem to forget, is that it is WE who are the government. It is We who are responsible for their actions. It is WE who are their bosses. If WE don't like their decisions, WE can express our disdain, or vote them out of office. We have elected leaders, that can't even respect the basic rights of all human beings, let alone the sovereign rights of all countries.

Other than our government propagandizing that Terrorism must be eliminated in countries thousands of miles away, and is also the greatest threat to our freedom, safety, and our way of life, what specifically justifies this irrational manufactured fear? What is the objective perspective? Since 911 to 2015, 3,024 people have died at the hands of foreign-born terrorists(Islamic extremists). This includes the 2,983 people who died in 911. This means, on average since 911, 5-6 people(out of 330M), have died as a result of Terrorists per year. By comparison, 20,000 people have died from opioid overdose per year. Over 15,000 people died from Murders and Homicides per year. Over 8000 Veterans have committed suicide every year. 300 people have died from falling off a ladder each year. 40,000 people die in motor vehicle accident per year, and over 50 people have died from bee and wasp stings each year since 2000. The phrase “War on Terror” has now become synonymous with American foreign policy in the Middle East. We are spending Trillions of dollars on a war overseas, to stop the potential for terrorist to kill of 5 people per year in the US. What is more insane about the Government's surfeit of security overreach, is its total lack of accountability and oversight. If terrorists only wanted to kill the highest number of American infidels, they should just buy more shares in McDonalds, Taco Bell, Subways, Burger King, Wendy's, and other fast food corporations. This would allow these fast-food corporations, to finance more outlets, and kill more infidels from obesity-related diseases, than any terrorist campaign ever could(2.5M people per year).

Does anyone here have a personal story, that can demonstrate, that Terrorism is a credible threat? Is the expense of fighting this threat, more important than Universal Healthcare for all, repairing our infrastructure, prison reform, addressing our housing problems, free education, and a higher minimum wage? What is sadly ironic, is that it is our actions in the ME, that is directly creating a new generation, of the terrorists we are fighting. We will now be fighting, the children of the parents we have murdered in this illegal war. Saddam, bin Laden, Gadhafi, have been dead for years. the only thing the US is doing in the ME, is fomenting fear and hatred. This is certainly NOT a victory.

So far, I have heard no answer for why we are still illegally occupying countries, in the ME. I have heard no answer to why we murdered an Iranian General and 9 Iraqi citizens. Where is the evidence of this credible threat, that our soldiers are giving their lives to eliminate? I think we should always look at things in their proper perspective. Spending trillions of dollars, that only will benefit war profiteering contractors, and Trump's chicken-hawk war mongers, is definitely NOT "America First". Also, the business of other countries choose to do with other countries, is none of our business.

No wonder, America has no allies in a war with Iran.

There are no indisputable facts driving your anti-Americanism, only wishful thinking from the left wing press.

President Donald Trump's order to assassinate Iranian Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani has triggered a major rupture between the US and its historically closest ally, the UK.

In remarkably outspoken comments, UK Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said in an interview published Sunday that Trump's isolationist foreign-policy stance had prompted the UK to look for alternative allies.

"I worry if the United States withdraws from its leadership around the world," he told The Sunday Times.

He added: "The assumptions of 2010 that we were always going to be part of a US coalition is really just not where we are going to be."

The comments came after Prime Minister Boris Johnson's government distanced itself from the attack that killed Soleimani, with UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab labeling it a "dangerous escalation" that risked a conflict in which "terrorists would be the only winners."

A commander contemplating an operation must consider what he might gain versus what he will lose.

Trump is costing us the most reliable ally we have had for the past 100 years.

Temporarily we hope. Trump got lucky on this one. Those Iranian rockets could have killed quite a few.

Which means the Iranians do? Which means Europe would prefer Solemani be alive and continuing his terrorist acts?

Oh well too bad the UK chooses to stand by the largest state sponsor of terror in the world responsible for the deaths of thousands including over 600 Americans and thousands of American wounded who had attacked us in the field, killing an American and our embassy and our base in Iraq and all in one month. Too bad they for some warped reason must believe it would be better if Soleimani were still alive still carrying out those attacks.

There is nothing isolationist about this and the UK is free to join in in protecting western interest.

OK then let's disband NATO and you can defend yourself and we will concentrate on our own defenses after Russian and the Islamic Jihad subserviates you.

He did. That is exactly what our CIA director briefed him on and the decision was there was far more to gain than to lose. I think he just proved he is quite reliable as opposed to the last President.[/QUOTE]

He's talking about Russia and China and Syria and Iraq not the EU for crying out loud. Even Trump hasn't been able to screw that up yet.

Why could he not understand that the Iran deal stopped them from getting nukes for years, and this is ridiculously reckless and probably just makes things worse like Republicans do.

Right. And won't this make the soldiers mercenaries now who will be dying for other nations?
