Yes the USA has a responsibility to do and say something here ... otherwise they make their own a rediculous clown with their core values claims towards all others if they allow this to their close friend by keeping silence and so giving them a Wild Card to do every evil thing they want to do!

But why for this guy? Saudi's have been killing their own dissidents for years. What makes this guy special?

American Journalist, in an embassy, on foreign territory. It's the who and the manner and the where.

NOT an American journalist. He's a foreigner killed in a foreign embassy. Let Turkey handle this.

No. No more deals, bargains, trade, diplomacy, relationships, anything, with Islamic dictators and states.

Then your issue isn't this Saudi journalist, it's Islamic countries. That's a different issue.

Also, I would not be surprised to learn that Trump is in debt to wealthy Arabians since banks will no longer give him loans.

Games? You like to play word games? With an issue as serious as this? He's an American resident working as a US journalist for a US newspaper. However, to be clear, murdering anyone for any reason is immoral in any nation at any time in any universe--be it Putin, Assad, Ali Khamenei, Mohammad bin Salman, Nicolás Maduro, and on, and on, and on. What is especially egregious about this affair is the manner, method, and place. It's as shocking as any Putin murder.

I don't know what word games you think are being played. And and I'm not sure that "Despotic Regime Kills Critic" is an original story line.

It sucks to not be safe in ones own Embassy. But it is the middle east. So it's not Americas problem. The man was a Saudi Journalist from a very wealthy Saudi family. He was in tight with the Saudi Royals and a former aide to the Saudi spy Chief and media adviser to the Saudi Prince. He was very connected and controversial in the middle east. So he apparently died in a Saudi Embassy in Turkey. How is that Americas responsibility? It isn't. Sure we can do the standard condemnation routine, as do all nations in similar situations. I think liberals are trying to push our government into a controversy over this to try to make trouble for Trump. It's all about trying to injure Trump with the American left, who could care less about Khashoggi. Furthermore, almost anyone can be brutally and publicly executed in Saudi Arabia for just about anything, from drug running and inciting to riot to witchcraft and apostasy. That's just how it is over there. Their country, their laws. Khashoggi knew it all too well I'd guess.

Interesting ... and all these years, the US is not accusing these crimes of the Saudis ... crimes that they would not accept from anybody else in the world (except Israel) without **** Storm, an appeal and a cry for sanctions if not more as consequence ... AND NO ONE IN THE USA is worried about it and demands the removal of the regime in Ryad?

Hello hypocrisy, good that you are again so clear and obvious in the US!

Especially thid guy may not really be, but it's new that it was so open discovered!

If you read my post you should have noticed that I said that I wouldn't be surprised, yes? No link necessary. However, I just googled
Trump's financial ties to Saudi Arabia and maybe you should do the same because financial ties evidently exist.

I see people getting more worked over by this that the killing of an actual American in Iran. This is nuts, he is not an american, he was not killed here.
China does this 1000 times a year and no one says anything, likewise with the Mossad. It is not our business!

He was a permanent resident here. Anyway, it ain't dainty for an ally of ours to pull a stunt like that with the press. Sends a bad message. Don't worry. Trump is just going through the motions because he really doesn't give a sht.

The left loves to glorify china saying it leads the way in alternative energy to fight global warming. Yes the same china that killed countless protesters in Tiananmen Square and drug even more off to some prison never to be seen again. Now these same leftist demand sanctions on Saudi for one murder that may or may not have occurred.

You mean that there are no flock members interested in this? Not even a couple?
Actually, it is the media that is very upset about the torture and murder of one of there own and are demanding an investigation, which is to be expected.

What hypocrisy? Do you even know what that word means? I've been consistent in not caring much about foreigners killed in a foreign country by other foreigners.

Well let's hope Trump is just going through the motions. I don't want neo-cons pushing him into doing something about a non existent crisis.

In a sense, it is a crisis if an autocrat can wantonly torture and murder a journalist who is a member of the free press. A free press is what keeps us free by holding our leaders and would be autocrats accountable.
