seems like a fairy tale to me
first your linking to a untrustworthy and biased site hardly worth attention
wich then citesno proof whatsoever in the article with only 2 links, both leading to almasdarnews
1 in general and the secund to this
    https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/russias-s-500-to-enter-service-soon-to-combat-us-f-35/

now the real intresting part is that link above has a source listed in the article, coming from a russian article
    https://www.kommersant.ru/doc/4154217
unles translation is wrong they are saying in that article that russia wil start using the S500 System in general but no mention at all about Syria or F35 as reason (merely to update its equipment)

Biased much ? and wishfull thinking if you ask me

One things for sure. The Ruskies will get some experience by installing them in Turkey.

Oh...you mean all those "trustworthy" sites like RT, Pravda, Duran, Sputnik that some trolls here used to glorify the S400s? Seem d like a fairy tale then?

Almasdar is supposedly pro Assad news outlet. Maybe Assad isn't so happy with the 400s, that the Israelis continue to violate Syrian airspace that the Russkis said they would protect.

I wish the US bought a couple of units of S400 to test them on F35 and F22.
Who knows, maybe turkeys actions are a convert operation to get some of the russian anti aircraft weapons in friendly hands to test them.

Yeah.....I was thinking the same , that this may be some "clandestine op" to get a 400 system and see what makes it tick?

You'd think the Russkis would/might be wise to something like this.

If I was in military high level position I’d want them and demand them to test stealth aircraft.
Obviously it would be classified, but the military needs to know what the other side can see.
And Pootin seem to sell those things without concern.

You dont need to buy a S400. The german passive radar can detect it. I assume Russia and China can detect it as well.

Stealth aircraft have their use in wars against weak developing countries like Syria or Afghanistan. Certainly not against industrialized nations.

With so many grounded for mechanical failures, they are pretty much invisible to all radar, because they sit on the ground.

No need. All they need to do is read the Russian patent for the radar that can detect stealth aircraft.
    https://patents.google.com/patent/RU2624736C2/en
They had a radar that could detect stealth aircraft in the S300, so I'm sure they made it better for the S400

    & Nowhere does YOUR
article say that S400 can't take out the flying Garbage Can just that the S500 is an improvement
...................................................................Maybe S 500 includes an array of Sobo's passive radar

Maybe :icon_shithappens:"Zoomy":icon_shithappens: should check his sources and what they have to say about the viability

    From The Article: Nov.14 2019
"The F-35 fifth generation single engine fighter has faced further delays in its entry into frontline service
after the Pentagon denied Lockheed Martin permission to begin full scale production of the jet."
    &
"The Pentagon’s leading weapons tester Robert Behler noted that the F-35 was still far from fully combat
ready, particularly highlighting the fact that all variants of the platform suffered from low reliability and
were prone to breakdowns more often than previously anticipated."

    Oh....now you're an authority on Physics!....Besides being a "cop"?

Are there any other trades or occupations you're an authority on? Erik is it? Or Vasily?

I actually sympathize with you ....just a bit! East Germans have an "inferiority complex", no fault of the Germans' that is. That mediocre complex was indoctrinated in you and your families by your Russki "friends" for over 4 decades back in the day. Prior to that and 1945 that attitude was non existent and all Krauts had the "superiority" attitude throughout Germany.

I think in time(at least another generation), that should be thoroughly diluted and filtered out, and should return to normal. It's like flushing out high clearance sprayer tanks from old chemical residue, prevents clogging of sprayer tips:)). Krauts are tough psychologically Sobo, I know, I'm one too, you can do it. I'm pulling for ya!

I have No inferiority complex. We Germans can detect F-35. I assume others can as well.

Your passive radar detected them when they knew where and when to look and the aircraft wasn’t even trying to hide. You can’t use it for guidance, all it tells you is that there is something there - could be a flock of birds or an F35.

"I have no inferiority complex".....well but you do. You just don't see it.

You "assume" others can detect F35, including Germans? LOL, weak argument there, and wide open to interpretation. I assume the sky may fall in.....not necessarily happen.

And who told UAwire this - The Russians ? :) Humor.

The idea that F-35's are "invisible" to low frequency radar is preposterous nonsense on steroids. "Every WW2 - Battle of Britain radar" can see every Stealth plane.

The problem with low frequency is targeting.

Nope, it has the data how a F-35 infleunces radio waves.

Dude you are interested in tech. You know as well as me that stealth is a scam. We can detect planets orbiting stars lightyears away. I assure you any industrualized nation can detect any aircraft that exists today and you know that as well.

Nope actually not. I know for sure that nothing americans or other subs can build comes even close to what we develop and build.

We can detect the F-35. Why? Because we are the best in tech. We proved it at Berlin Airshow, where we humilated the yanks and busted their pathetic little show.

Nothing better than letting filthy foreigners invest millions to fly their crap plane to Berlin and then humilate them, place our passive radar next their trash and they are forced to stay on ground.

Russians, americans, for me its same ****, different name.
