Passive radar does not mean the end of stealth.

here's an analysis based on the incident that Sobo is suggesting means Germany can track and target stealth aircraft with it.

LOL....nothing the USA builds comes close to what you build?

No kidding....well seeing as how back in the day.....WW2 to be exact.....our B17s bombed the crap outta your cities, and were escorted by P51 Mustangs that dropped your Messerschmidt, FockeWulfs, Stukas, even the odd 262 that we could chase down, outta the skies.

Seeing as how you're so advanced now....go and tangle with the Russkis again.....we'll wait for that 3AM phone call:))!

Almasdar is suposedly pro assad doesnt make it true. Clearly they arent in and did i hit a nerve there ?
Your clearly love to use crappy articles with no proof to back it up to glorify the F35. And i never sayd those examples you listed are good or bad but i do know that i read your article and the source of came from die nog support the claims at all and had nothing to do with the F35.

Trying to attack me for exposing that just shows what a biased little Us fanboy you are and shows that your looking for any excuses to bash russian tech.

There is nothing wrong with being sceptical of certain weaponssystems but at least give some decent articles backed by facts.

Then again of they can detect the F35 stealth then its a issue

It’s really outside of my realm.
I do not really think stealth is a scam. Stealth does not make the plane invisible, you technically can put a bunch of human observers to watch out for planes with a the same effect. The passive radar has very limited applications and you must admit it. You can’t use it for guidance for a weapons system. Just like stealth aircraft are visible to naked eye, there are always going to be the ways to detect it. What makes a difference is what you can do with that data.

So, in a way, yes, F35 can be detected by some very limited technology. But because it’s very limited, there is not a whole lot you can do about it. That passive radar is not different from a human observer radioing in to inform you that some fighter jets are in your zone.
You like technology too and you must admit the fact that passive radar is very limited.

    Quantity won over quality.

You are scared from the russians and thats pathetic. Its also your problem. You are mad because Germany has no issues with Russia. Russia wants buy our tec and we want buy their rescources. Perfect deal.

Ukraine has the chance to offer us something better.

The limiting factor in the passive radar system we developed is, that it depends on mobile net and radio waves. If you shut down the mobile and radio net, its blind. So regarding that it would be useless for countries like Venezuela or Syria

The history of Russian/Soviet anti-aircraft missiles in Syria is worth reading about.
They even played a part in the downfall of the USSR after it became apparent their
best missiles were bested by the Israelis.
Same too when the IDF took out Syria's nuclear reactor.
But for the S400's and coming S500's I am not so sure.

Quantity won over quality"? Sure it did, even Reichmarshall Goering wished he had a few Mustangs &Thunderbolts.

"Were scared from the russkis"? :roflol:, yep, so scared we like schwacking them by the hundreds.

Oh were not "mad".....we'll sit back and wait for your call/text/tweet.
Well yeah, Russkis always buy everyone else's tech, they don't buy their own, known fact.

Ukraine can offer you something "better"? But I thought you said earlier Ukies were....."chornoblians".....that have nothing to offer us? You're contradicting yourself?

No, you just speak bad english.

Ukraine can offer us something better and we might care for Ukraine. As it stands now Ukraine is free game for Russkies and none of our business.

Look thats your main problem. When Germany is against Russia you praise us like a submissible little sub praises a god. When we give a **** you get all sissy and thats get boring.

Wedo whats best for our own interest. Germany first.

Ukraine has come a long way since I lived there back in the 90s. 20 years ago the country was a true failure. Now they are finally getting their act together.
I always thought that every country that wants a true chance to survive must pay for its independence with blood. And that’s what that country is doing now and it’s population is learning some very valuable lessons. Ukrainians start to realize that the only people who can really defend them from external threats is themselves - not Americans, Europeans or Russians. They started to learn the value of having their own strong armed forces (something that even Germans seem to forget). They are learning that to be truly good at something, they must be honest and you can’t cheat your way to the top.
Ukraine is valuable to Europe because, even with corruption and it being broke, they still build decent planes and rocket boosters that are used by other countries. Every time I come there I see improvements. Eventually, they’ll be a good partner to Europe that contributes, and they will seize to be a beggar.

Doesn't matter as soon as they switch on their radar the f 35 will see them and they will die.

Why are some of you so emotionally invested in the failure of the f-35?

Made up gibberish based on uniformed wishful thinking.

Because the plane is a lemon and the program should have been put out to pasture long ago. This program has been a massive waste of tax dollars. Even if you don't think the plane is a lemon - and willfully ignore all the evidence - No serious person can deny that the program itself has been a massive boondoggle.

The question to you is -why are you so happy about this massive boondoggle ? Do you like it when hundreds of trillions of tax payer dollars are wasted ?

These planes were supposed to be ready in 2010. The House voted to scrap the program in 2011 due to the massive cluster buck that it was. The plane was not even close to being ready and there were massive cost overruns.

In late 2018 - all US F-35's were grounded due to problems -- as of 2019 the plane still has numerous problems.

LOL - Don't let those memories about information that conflicted with your nonsense narrative trouble you too much. When you find that you can not defend your perspective - perhaps it is time to change that perspective.

So you are happy about this massive waste of tax payer dollars ?

"Emotionally invested in F35 failure"......easy....because the troll effing schnegs here can't handle the fact that it's operational and flying despite some problems.

And whatever they have or want/desire isn't even close to being on the drawing board.

Much like these "hypersonic" weapons I read about but never see. It's because there isn't any,LOL. The only thing "hypersonic" is the massive propaganda crapped out.:))

And a german passive radar can do nothing to defend Germany. In any event. The f 35 will detect any threat long before it is detected by a threat.. any threat.. a typhoon cannot be directed to an f 35 without the f 35s knowledge and no threat can get near thr f 35 without the f 35s concent.

The F35 is slow. When its detcted by passive radar, its toast. You dont even need a typhoon, you can use a Flak.

Yeah. It was super effective during the first gulf war.. unguided artillery. The perfect way to shoot down a plane..
ALL GUIDANCE SYSTEMS ARE DETECTED by the f 35.

So lemme see.....I watched this "video" of this ....individual.....with no name mentioned, subtitles, or anything. F35 is crap this, shitty that, garbage this, useless that? And it's coming from CBC Fifth Estate(heavily subsidized Canadian broadcaster, Liberal rag) usually rabidly anti US everything.
Who is this yoyo, what's his credentials? This almost looks doctored? This link is for ****!:))

No UA wire probably has their own investigative reporters.

That would be awesome. I wonder whether the Russians are actually concerned about that. It's always seemed odd for Russia to sell this kind of equipment to a NATO member.

It isn't cheap or easy innovating the future of air power. The F-35 has always been a highly ambitious project and there are bound to be little issues like these along the way.

Military Admits Billion-Dollar War Toy F-35 Is F**ked

    https://www.thedailybeast.com/military-admits-billion-dollar-war-toy-f-35-is-fked

    From The Article:
Officials are finally admitting the F-35 fighter has turned into a nightmare—but it’s too late to stop
    the $400 billion program now
    &
But the dream of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter turned into a nightmare. The program is six years
behind schedule and tens of billions of dollars over budget. And now, 16 years after the JSF
prototypes took off for their first flights, top officials are finally owning up to the trauma the $400
billion fighter program has inflicted on America’s finances and war readiness.
    &
And the kicker—two generals confessed that the whole idea of a do-it-all jet is, in fact, so
conceptually flawed that it’s unlikely the Pentagon will attempt it again. Right now the Air Force
and Navy are laying plans for so-called “sixth-generation” jets to eventually supersede the F-35.[/quote]
