I realized that as a captive, she was forced to wear Muslim style garb. But she is free. Still she wears Muslim garb. She speaks ill of the Taliban, but can she be relied on to fully support America? The interview offers enough we can decide for our self what she might do to her country. I would like to hear from posters who have an opinion on her garb. TY very much.

Totally dodgy. And not just because she's still dressed in .. that (which is suspicious enough on its own), but his beard-no-mo, his history, why they were in the country in the first place, and how they were 'freed'.

And did you catch the names of their kids? they didn't sound American/Canadian.

Boyle probably converted to Islam in 2009. I suspect Coleman converted upon marrying him in 2011 or so.

    Right..

Boyle was previously married to a fellow Canadian, Zaynab Khadr, who had family ties to al-Qaeda. Her father was a suspected al-Qaeda financer killed by Pakistani security forces, and her younger brother Omar Khadr was once the youngest detainee at the U.S. terrorist prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

That sounds about right. There's very little likelihood that they haven't converted.

lol, you just stated that you are suspicious due to her garb, his beard, his history and the kids names and I add (from the article) her family history and you ask me "and"?

What she wears (and by extension, the presumption she is a practicing Muslim) doesn’t pose any kind of threat what-so-ever to America. Being Muslim doesn’t make someone a bad person.

I’m curious what you mean by “fully support America” though. Unconditionally supporting the policies and actions of the US government (regardless of who that is and what they do)? Promoting their personal opinions of what is best for the American people? Promoting your opinions of what is best for the American people? Standing for the National Anthem and screaming “U.S.A!” at sporting events? ;)

Supporting good about America. No matter who comes and goes as president, this country does a lot of good.
Are you aware of the Friday Muslim prayers and what they contain?

Fair enough. So nothing about her faith and certainly nothing about how she dresses would automatically prevent her from doing that. Plenty of non-Muslim Americans aren't doing that after all (though they'd probably disagree on who the problem is :) ).

I suspect it varies significantly (good and bad). I flicked though that video and didn't see anything concerning. It was much like some Christian services I've heard in general style and direction.

Just another muzzie who got kidnapped by fellow muzzies. The fact that she's American has nothing to do with anything.

She put herself and her children in that situation, so somebody needs to call CPS on her so she can't hurt her children any more.

There wouldn't even be a Taliban if we didn't have Gitmo.

Oh, wait. The Taliban pre-dates Gitmo. Never mind.

How idiotic. We helped the Taliban in the Cold War. We had to do a lot of things to restrain and defeat the Soviets. That was the larger, more important issue.

Agreed. A point of clarification: we helped the Mujahadeen. The Taliban didn’t arise until after the Soviets left Afghanistan and any assistance we provided them we minimal at best.
