What think you - the views of a proud American or the dangerous ideology of a nutter?

We do need a revitalization, this countries government needs to be wiped clean and done over.

We need to keep laws as simple as possible and we must not give any one special privillages over another based upon skin color, sexual preference, etc.

    Laws for the common man.

We need our judicial system re-done, keep the laws as simple as possible and more people will follow them.

The judicial system is a (*)(*)(*)(*)storm of a mess today.

    We just need a reboot.

Unfortunately most of the world is not particualrly civilized and nonviolence in the face of barbarians is seen as weakness by barbarians and gets you even more violence.

American democracy isn't "superior to all other forms of government." In fact there's a number of issues with American democracy: high incumbency rate, low voter turnout etc.

The problem is that this country has never been serious about dealing with barbarians like this since World War II, The Korean, Vietnam, gulf, Iraq & Afghanistan police actions, etc are all perfect examples of this.

It's a waste of time for this country to attempt to deal with or buy off barbarians.

The trouble with Barbarians is that they get even pissier if you ignore them.

Jihad is an internal struggle to be a good Muslim and submit to the will of God. Christians have the same concept when they pray.. "Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven".

This idea is that of someone who I believe is new to the issue.

I remember in 2005 when I first began posting in on line political forums, that we non Muslims might be thought to also perform Jihad when we struggle to do some aspect of our lives better

That was in line with my belief that jihad was merely a spiritual struggle like yoga or something.

I floated the idea of referring to my every day efforts as being examples of my own non-Muslim form of Jihad.

Well, that was before i came to realize exactly what jihad really entailed, which is the struggle to help the Islamic religion move forward toward the ultimate goal of global domination.

The first clue I got to the possible mistake I would have been making was the delighted response from a known pro-Jihadist poster who cooed with contentment when I suggested that we non-Muslims should also adopt the term.

Eventually I came to be oh so glad I did NOT use this term to refer to anything BUT the efforts by Muslims to conquer all non-Muslim lands in the name of Allah.

The idea of using this term to mean any kind of struggle would eventually lead to the lessening of the word's impact on non-Muslims so that the news of Jihadists coming to America and settling here in numbers might eventually be greeted with a "so what" response by silly, uninformed Americans.

    No.

Let's use the word, JIHAD to refer ONLY to the act mandated by Allah for Muslims to perform.

And whenever we see it in print or hear it spoken we should know it as an evil we must not tolerate growing in America.

To the idea of non-Muslims using the word, Jihad in our every day lives to refer to our innocent efforts not having anything to do with Islam or global domination or world conquest or terrorism would be to help Jihad actually extend its tentacles into and around our very lives and society and make us even more vulnerable to its evil intent.

    No no no no no.

    Not ever.

    Keep this in mind.

A "fundamental transformation" is what Eboma called his version of a re-boot.

Lets elect the right people and impress upon them to do OUR BIDDING.

We are their bosses and we hire and fire every election and we are going to be more vigilant. More watchful of their actions from now on.

And it is also important to realize that Liberals are hardwired differently than Conservatives, generally.

And with liberals, generally, you are speaking of Democrats.

They are blessed with certain tendencies which make them less reliable in responsibly handling great power and they just love handling great powers. Problem is they don't do it as reliably well or as selflessly as Conservatives and with that I'm saying Republicans, and generally.

Elect Republicans and you'll have less of what you've seen these past 6 years or so.

And I just know some of you BDS posters will chime in with,"but, but, but, what about BOOOOOOSH????"

Here's news for ya. He didn't cause the economic crisis, he tried to warn Congress of ITS responsibility to exercise prudent regulations for loan making entities. He warned them repeatedly but they flipped off his agency directors in public hearings on the matter. Then what he warned of happened. Not his fault.

And in another thread I explained why he had to invade,; it was either that or watch the beginning of WW3 possibly transpire before our eyes and if he'd done nothing we could have all died.

    Every one of us.

So, what was so bad about the GWB administration?

Okay we now clearly understand that when you cut taxes you must also cut spending.

That was an error of W's administration.

So, to conclude, W was a damn good leader who never lied to us or decieved us for his own benefit or political gain or in order to avoid appearing inept or to get re-elected and give succor to our enemies and chose to preserve a bullshi campain narrative at the cost of 4 brave souls far far from home who were there for US.

Eboma intentionally or recklessly irresponsibly jeopardized every Americans's life when he permitted Ebola patients to be brought into the United States.

Obama promised CHANGE and a fundamental transformation is what we got.

    Thanks America.

    Vote GOP...for a CHANGE.

    :D

Before I address any of the points raised in your interesting response, I need to know to whom you are referring when you state "someone who I believe is new to the issue" - the author of that article, or me? :)

Nutter. He almost had me until he got to the last paras because I don't see anything wrong with PEACEFULLY pushing our ideals, especially if one of those ideals remains the fact that we respect the ideals of others. In those last paras, however, he makes it clear that he doesn't really care much for the American tradition of tolerance and basically just wants to go to war with the entire world. Pure nutter, scary to see on a major media and worse than Osama bin Laden, because if we did take that attitude we could kill a lot more people than Osama ever dreamed of, maybe even everyone.

Well, then let those who feel so strongly about having a jihad volunteer to go over there and fight. Just don't send any American troops over on tax payer dollars; let the volunteers go over on donated money. Not one American soldier should die over in those foreign lands.

    BOOOSH.

Say a prayer tonite in thanks for a great job done by a great American President, George W. Bush.

Wouldn't it depend on what was at stake?

How can you advocate a blanket policy position like that?

Like I said even before I knew it was Ablow's comments, he seems like he is considering the matter for the first time.

    Nutter.

And just because he is on Fox don't discount the possibility of his having come to this position by way of a Liberal orientation which FNC may have welcomed in order to attact mush for brains Liberals to tune in.

Ablow is no nuttier than the typical Liberal.

    - - - Updated - - -

    Ablow.

    Sorry for any confusion.

Dangerous Fascist ideologue. This guy sounds like the fanatic Nazi's, or Stalinist's "We have the Truth[SUP]TM[/SUP], and for your own good we are going to make you live it. If you don't like it, then we will kill you." That's this guy's message. To suggest such a policy demonstrates that this guy hasn't a clue as to what the founders of this nation had in mind. Franklin, Jefferson, Washington, Madison, Adams and others would have rejected out of hand this idiots ideas.

There's a difference between a region not being civilised and being in political turmoil.

Usually the latter pretty much destroys the former. The Middle East has pretty much been in a state of turmoil since Muhammad.

Find me a century in which they weren't a war internally or extrnally at least fifty per cent of the time before the west took over the most of Africa in the late 1890's.
