At this point, Nunes needs to recuse himself from the Russian investigation and the Wiretap investigation. His objectivity on these issues is highly suspect given his willingness to travel to the White House, in secret, to review information and then to inform the President of the information gleaned before even discussing the information with his fellow committee members. In fact, there is a rational argument to be made that the panel, on the whole, is too suspect at this point and an independent committee should be appointed.

Nunes seems to be going all-in on staying in his position.

    Zero integrity.

A partisan with no objectivity who is unable of overseeing a fair investigation.

At a minimum, The Senate needs to take over the investigation.

Our government has devolved into one giant spitball fight with no winners. That's what we get for not having term limits to rein in the professional political class.

Very predictable, any investigation of Trump will fail if it's bipartisan. Nunes is a Republican, he must be removed from the Committee along with any other Republicans involved. Only an all-Democrat investigation can get to the bottom of this. They probably could enlist the support of mainstream media investigative reporters and thuroughly bring the truth to light much sooner.

From what I've read Democrats now want Nunes investigated too.

There are very specific reasons why Nunes should be removed from this investigation. Reasons that go beyond merely being Republican.

But the same Democrats that are calling for Nunes to step down are also calling for an independent investigation - one that would not involve any Congressional Democrats - to investigate the issue. Is that "very predictable?"

I would like to hear from a Trump Chump or GOP defender what possible non-partisan motive there could be for Nunes running to warn the White House that the investigation was getting close to proof of wrongdoing.
What other explanation could there be other than Nunes was protecting the White House?
Nunes isn't even a good liar - he keeps changing his story.
He has to know that there is no future in a Trump regime unless you become an accomplished liar, but he does get points for putting party before country.
