The purpose of the Constitution is to make it so government cannot harm the population, in theory.

Whitmer and others have harmed the people whose rights she and others are sworn to uphold.

When you sign your license, you agree to abide by traffic laws.

Don't want to abide? Don't sign for a license. Nobody is forcing you.

    Your comparisons are awful. Lol

Good for the ammo store owner, sounds like a patriot. I'm all for obeying laws passed by the legislature, not so much on whims of crazy governors.

Meanwhile, US Wuhan Virus deaths down to 336 a day.......

So protecting people from Covid is wrong?

How is shutting down the economy unnecessarily protecting people? Sweden never did and they're doing fine. Masks are intended to stop bacteria, not virus, which are 1,000 times smaller. It's like trying to stop a mosquito with a chain link fence.

And here I thought it was about public health and protecting each other from COVID-19. Silly me ...

The government cannot protect people from Covid, or from drowning, or from automobile accidents or from pretty much anything else.

As Sweden has demonstrated so well wearing masks and staying at home accomplishes precious little if one happens to be driven by empirical evidence and facts.

The duty of the government is to protect the rights of its citizens from the aggressions of others. When it gets to the point that government harms the rights it is supposed to protect, well, things have become quite ass-backwards.

Reducing personal interactions will reduce the spread.
I’m bemused by some trump supporters who say that China should have done more to stop the spread - even though they imposed a lockdown of an entire province for weeks. Like nobody allowed outside. Yet they also say that wearing masks is too much.
Seriously - which is it? Should countries take extreme measures to stop the spread or not worry about it?

China should not have lied about the virus early. Some say it was intentionally released, I wouldn't put it past them.

But according to many on here, the lying wouldn’t matter. Do you think they should have been honest then taken drastic measures to contain it immediately?

Exactly! Now, how far do you want to go down that road? Taxes? Schools? Diets? Where will you draw the line?

So you will condemn trump for lying (he has admitted he downplayed it) and failing to take drastic action when the first cases showed up in America.
Waiting for your condemnation of trump.

Well letting my junk swing in the wind isnt hurting anyone either huh not that i ever would.
Most established doctors will tell you that they work if it was as many as you would like everyone here to believe then why is it that every hospital is requiring them in in places not mandatory.
Now i will agree on using a bandana as one or those other ones that they say are worthless i believe its the ones that go around your neck and come up. I am talking real ones.

You'd rather Trump panicked? He's supposed to show a calm face. He did take drastic action, closing China travel before there was one US death, over the objections of Biden & Co. Remember in Jan/Feb the WHO was telling us there was no danger of human transmission, Fauci was telling us the threat was minor, ect. Trump was supposed to listen to the 'experts', right?

I agree. Would you support the internet sale of firearms? That would really have saved 5,000,000 new first time gun owners from having face to face contact with anyone.

Look how far you had to move the goal post! You still have no point. This is a private business and no one is forcing you to get within 6 feet of the ammo store. Banks should not have to face penalties for not allowing people wearing masks to enter.

Depending on the government to protect you from a virus is wrong. Solitary confinement would protect people from Covid.

Banks? I thought this was about an ammo store.

I don't understand why someone buying bullets wouldn't want to wear a mask. How often do we get to thumb our noses at all of the spying cameras in public places, and laugh at how much money many countries have spent on facial recognition software?

I think the right is looking at this all wrong. You guys are just no fun!
