I didn't figure they would allow guns.

Charges and a law suit can be filed against the woman who pulled the gun.

The concept of arming everyone is admittedly intriguing, but what about poor people who can't afford guns? Are gun stamps (similar to food stamps) the answer? And what is the minimum age? 16? 18?

The idea of armed teen-agers may be somewhat disturbing to many.

    Is that, strictly speaking, politeness?

Sounds more like terror to me. Being afraid of being shot to death is not the same thing as being polite.

When I say "Have a good day" to a customer, it's not because I'm afraid that they'll kill me.

Now what if those women had guns? Do you really think that a gun is an appropriate response to hair pulling rather than pepper spray?

Just another example of an irresponsible gun owner who should have her right to carry taken away.

The darkies/"illegals" are coming for your women and children, be very afraid, be so afraid in fact that you beg your authoritarian corporate state system to build a wall around you. Because Lord knows that giving up Habeas Corpus, living under a militarized police force that is murdering unarmed citizens with impunity, being under constant state surveillance and subject to incarceration into corporate for profit prisons with convict labort leasing isn't "safe" enough.

Except when it isn't polite and the guns come out, or when a polite, quiet, troubled man decides to go on a killing spree, quite possibly at a school.

Or run their car through a crowd of people, or use a pressure cooker to blow people up, or a knife to attack a cop...what's your point? We should ban anything that can kill someone?

"When a strong man armed keeps his palace, his goods are in peace" Luke 11 : 21

Don't you find it ironic that one of the safest places in America has a law requiring people to keep a firearm in the home (though it is admittedly symbolic) while the most dangerous place is where guns are outlawed?

those toy drones are another way too, bad things happen in both good and bad economies, but in good economies people generally pursue happiness in good ways.

once the tax cuts start working and infrastructure spending is passed, good paying jobs will go a long way in protecting all freedoms.

Killing sprees don't occur in armed societies. They would end too soon. Killing spree type killers choose unarmed societies for their sprees.

Talk about a fantastic use of our tax dollars; brilliant! I love the idea of tax write offs but not the implications of the paper trail. Supposedly NICS check data isn't kept & 4473 forms recording the purchase are only to be kept by the seller of a firearm for a limited number of years.
I'd much rather seeing entitlements go to 1st time gun acquisitions (for those who qualify) than into a good number of the social services provided to illegals!

We aren't much of an "armed society." Most of us don't walk around armed.

Disneyland is far from polite. Everytime I've gone to Disney I've met a lot of rude people.

Americans are armed to the teeth and they are FAR from a polite society. We have higher daily death rates from guns than most war zones.
