Which war zones would those be?

You would likely consider me armed to the teeth and I am quite polite and most people are polite to me.

Richard We don't usually lose 100 every day in most of the wars we have participated in.But we lose AT least that many every day of the years and we have for years.

Fair enough. What do you suggest? Do we take all guns from American citizens? Would that make a polite society?

They have more restrictive regulations and no equivalent to the Second Amendment. People have to get a permit before they can even own a gun, and there are restrictions on who is eligible. They are also more restrictive and conservative about who can carry a weapon (versus just having one at home). It is also connected to their militia, unlike here, where military service has practically nothing to do with modern gun culture and ownership.

I'm with you on that. That lady is nuts. A few more of these videos and I may have to change my position on gun ownership.

What better than a near 'ubiquitous' armed citizenry to mitigate (as was the Founders intent) ... I dunno, - a 'spread thin' & 'after the fact', a.k.a - reactionary GuB'ment resource to mop things up... ?

I support the right to own guns -- but this idea that guns are a panacea to violence is just absurd.
