Well I won't disagree that could be the case with some. I just don't think that the reason of change is the same for all. But as I said before, not all social mores that one follows are for society at large. We follow multiple sets of social mores that affect us in ways that we don't always think about, and even follow different sets at different times/situations. And as noted before I would love to see if there was a study that looked to see if trans who "changed their orientation" after transitioning ever changed back.

I dare anyone to prove that sexuality doesn't change clearly it does we go from being really in the dark about sexuality as children because we have no sexuality at certain ages. To having a libido then we get married we become monogamous these things are changes.

I don't think anybody denies those changes.

I responded to your comment about sexuality.

Sexuality and orientation are not the same thing being spelled and pronounced differently should be the first clue.

The separation of sexuality from procreation entails its freedom from heterosexuality and its emergence as an individual attribute, something individuals can develop, enjoy, change or project as part of their changing definition of the self. Sexuality becomes plastic because the self itself has broken the bounds of traditional institutional expectations and it is now free to constitute and reconstitute itself in a series of narratives answering to nothing else but the growing freedom of individuals to develop their potential.

My comment was about sexual orientation. What, in common parlance, is often referred to as 'sexuality'.

there is a certian ambiguity in common parlance that you have now become aware of.

This misunderstanding is entirely your fault. You could have made you're statement clear. It is your duty as the message sender to be clear. I can forgive ambiguity as mistakes occur. But you haven't owned up to any. Feedback is a gift. I could simply mock and ridicule you but instead I'm showing politeness by giving you feed back.

If it irritates you having to clear up ambiguity in your language leave no room for it.

If you actually think that's what happened (as opposed to diverting attention from your lack of ammo), then I say bless your little heart :)

Some people may have the opinion that they are dog psychics. You can have any opinion you want but if you want to be seen as rational you have to support it.

What do you mean by that? I'm referring to a cultural approach/attitude. It's not of my own devising, it's something I've adopted.
