I don't recall reading that one, but it comes up quite a few times, not just Egypt.

And you have too be careful of so called qualified anthropologists/archeologists.
In many cases it is occupational suicide to make claims out of the accepted norm.

Your sweeping claim with no source/s to support it is noted.

Puma Punku has machined rock to incredible tolerances.. way beyond any hand tool capability we have today

And the only people who can argue that, are people with no concept of how things are made.

People banging rocks together, works for them.

you just can't get precision corners like that..

I guess you could given enough time and people possibly.. but why would you back then??

Kinda like his claim that the stones were granite?

I am still waiting for his references that say that is true.

    This is another question mark,
    What are these used for..
They look like they are part of some kind of machines themselves.

do we need proof no...you need to go to school...the video is idiotic it's full of images of archeological sites from around the world covering a time span of a minimum 2K yrs...hard to believe I sat through it, amusing only in it's ignorance

at 2:15 someone puts a square on one of your "precision" cut stones to measure a 90, oops:roflol:

You're not going to get an intelligent response.
These people have a fragile acceptance and will believe anything that does not violate their dictated belief's.

why do you do anything? why build a useless wall across america, why do billionaires compete to build the tallest sky scrapper, why build a cathedral, why build the Parthenon, why build a rocket ship to go to mars, why do some people try swim across an ocean...their motivation is irrelevant as I'm sure it was to the aliens that lent them their power tools.

I think he was looking for a more intelligent answer.
These are hunter/gatherers, and you want to believe they sat in front of blocks of stone for their entire lifetimes to make perfect cuts in stone, that had no apparent use to them.
Apparently stone cutting, and transporting, was very easy for these illiterate people.
Of course they may have done it with their teeth.

A single YT video is your proof that it is granite and not andesite?

Yea, like that means anything. I can link to videos that show that the world is flat and that none of us are real, just computer simulations for a higher level society.

At least it lets me know the level of debate I can expect. Maybe I should start sticking to more simple words in the future.

that's not even an intelligent argument, andesite is very similar and it could not be accomplished in your insane theory either.
But maybe they did it with their teeth.

    You are sooooo gullible.

Maybe you can tell us what they are building, to suit their hunter/gatherer, society.

verifies the point I made earlier about looking only for what agrees with their pov...title of the video Never ending ancient Mystery the poster didn't enter a objective search into the browser he added his personal bias "mystery" ...was his search centered on scholarly objective anthropological articles , nope straight to the "mysterious unknown" a never ending one no less...

all of these websites they see verification are as bogus...the opening image of the video is of the Barabar Caves in INDIA!...if you watch closely there is another picture of a large flat stone supposedly in Puma Punku but waaaay in the background are roman or greek columns, :roflol: the Puma Punku culture certainly got around, Mediterranean, India..

.and none of those verifiable lies I could point out in the video will shake their belief in alien power tools, why?...because they saw it on the INTERWEB so it must be true, they want it to be true and nothing will shake their illogical obsession...

Barabar caves India , that door looks familiar doesn't it

For someone who keeps bringing up aliens and laser beams, the Indian Hindu are a poor choice to use as an example.
They have extraterrestrials as a major part of their religion

That is your response? Simply dismissing it out of hand without even bothering to do any research or providing any facts?

    OK, here are some facts.

Granite has a density of 2.75 grams per cubic centimeter. Andesite has a density of 2.11 and 2.36 g/cm3. In other words, it is a much lower density rock. And lower density means it is easier to work.

One of the main components in both minerals is silica. This is what makes the major component that gives the rock such strength. it is also the "binding agent", which keeps the various minerals bound together.

In granite, it is around 80% of the component of the rock. In andesite, it is only 50-65% silica compounds. This is why it is less dense, and the components do not adhere to each other as they do in granite.

These are facts. And no, I did not just make this up, here are references.

    https://sciencestruck.com/properties-uses-of-andesite-rock

    https://sciencestruck.com/granite-rock-facts

Now please, do some research. Your simply denial of anything presented to you and providing absolutely no references is the kind of thing I expect from a 2 year old. Not somebody who is trying to discuss anything that is to even be considered seriously at all.

And no, I am not gullible, quite the opposite. As I said, I question everything and then do research to determine the most logical conclusion. You however seem to be taken in by any video or non-research site that tends to agree with your beliefs.

And no, they were not a "hunter-gatherer society". It dates to around 300 BCE, and was constructed by the Tiwanaku empire. This is the first culture that started the wide-spread terracing of the landscape to support crops, which proves they had already made the leap between the Middle and Upper Paleolithic ages. Hunter-gatherers are Middle Paleolithic. They make few to no permanent structures, either using crude temporary housing (like tents), or use natural housing which may then be modified to suit their needs (like caves). They also are nomadic, moving to follow the crops and animals that they consume. At Upper Paleolithic, animal husbandry and domestication of crops has started, along with it the requirements to start building permanent structures.

Your arguments are full of such fails it is almost comical. You might as well try and claim the Protodynastic Egyptians were also hunter-gatherers.

Oh my goodness, really? Go tell somebody who is a Hindu that Adi Parashakti and all of her avatars are aliens.

Let me guess, Jehova, Zeus, Odin, and the Níłchʼi Dineʼé must also be aliens.

And BTW, all of this argument is largely pointless.

You can grind down any 2 rocks and achieve the same seamless fit without mortar. Sandstone is easiest because it crumbles easily. The same with andesite.

But you can also grind together 2 blocks of granite or marble and achieve the exact same finish, the exact same fit. But because they are harder, it will simply take longer to accomplish this. There is no miracle property of granite that makes it resistant to being ground against another piece of granite.

The Imaria Indians were hunter gatherers, with no written language,
Look at the stone blocks. They were made for something other than a friggin house.

    You are sooooo gullible.

You obviously have no concept of how things are made.

Look into the inside corners, cut just as fine as the rest.
You don't do that by scraping rocks together

And why was this made, it had to have a purpose.

    The who?

    http://www.lmgtfy.com/?q=Imaria+indians

As I said, I actually research things. Such as your claims. When you say something I do a quick look at a minimum, so I can understand what you are trying to say.

And amazingly, there do not seem to be any mention of "Imaria Indians" anywhere.

Since they do not exist, I guess they can be anything you want them to be. Kind of like the Piccaninny Tribe of Indians in "Peter Pan".

since you're so obsessed with laser beams, and aliens.

Here are some flying machines, laser weapons, nuclear weapons.
    Volumes written on the subject.

Either they had some really good sci-fi writers for the stone age book clubs,
    Or these people witnessed something.
