Some times tectonic plate movement is small and creeping.. Sometimes it is rapid and spectacular.. A few years ago the Red Sea got 26 feet wider in the space of a year.

The flood is written about in clay tablets in Dilmun long before the Hebrews. It was called Gilgamesh and was based on the flood of a river basin in Iraq.

They were intelligent.. What makes you think they were too primitive to develop techniques to get things done?

First the Imera natives had no written language.
It is physically impossible to make these by hand.
I worked with machines all my life, and if you show me any object, I can tell you if it was hand made, or machine made.
In most cases I can tell you what kind of machine was used.

I see....so my wife sees water rising and I build a boat in a couple hours so we can float our cows away. Why didn't we just walk to higher ground?

    Silly epic myths.........

How Long Did It Take for Noah to Build the Ark? | Answers in ...

Some often confuse God’s statement in Genesis 6:3 as the time it took Noah to build the Ark. However, these 120 years are a countdown to the Flood.

I think you have more than a few hours, maybe years, and maybe your land turned into an island after 100 feet, and 300 more are coming.

I think it would before the bronze age, so they did not have boards, just logs.

And obviously, there is a different story, than what has been accepted.
There is evidence of ancient machinery all over the world.

A clue might be in the Mahabharata, and other Vedas, where they speak of nuclear destruction 6000 years ago.
This would send everyone back into the stone age

That wouldn't make much sense.. The Marsh Arabs of Iraq migrated from al Hasa 7000 years ago.. Lots of cultures have flourished since then.
