    Every dime spent on anti-abortion laws could have been spent improving hospitals and maternity wards - saving babies that have parents who want them.

    But no - let's spend money fighting court battles to get laws that have already been proven not to work and ignore the lives of children already born who need medical care.

    I feel as bad for these "mothers" as I would for a rapist trying to go after a woman who was armed. Funny thing is, the left always seems to want to protect and pity the assailant than protect the innocent.

    She CHOSE to actively seek out that procedure. There's your choice. She wanted to kill someone, and ended up paying the price.

    And? Whats your point? Those who die because they tried to rob an armed person are also usually from the impoverished part of the spectrum. Do I weep for a criminal who tries to kill someone and gets killed themselves? Nope.

    Making anything illegal does not completely stop it.

    If we used the same rationale here, we should get rid of a LOT of laws.

    Once again demonstrating the inconsistency when it comes to abortion.

    How many laws aimed at preventing something actually see a rise in that same activity?

    Don’t ever forget that when it is illegal all brakes are off. No restrictions whatsoever

    Seriously? Comments like this tells me how little some of you think of women. There ARE resources out there. Yes, there are low or no cost contraceptives available, WIC, prenatal care, child care, educational opportunities.
    No one HAS to be "butchered by a back yard abortionist"


    Alabama has a long fight ahead of them, as most people don't agree with the law as it stands. Personally, I think abortion should be allowed up to 2 months.

    Did you notice the little squiggly thing at the end of her sentence? It denotes a question NOT a statement....got it?



    ALL of which Republicans try to cut funding for.......AND Alabama has NO bill to aid in funding when there are more and more and more poor children...they just don't care.


    :) Maybe not because there is already an underground system well in place ot help women retain their right to their own bodies and have safe abortions...:)



    That's only 8 weeks and many women don't even know they're pregnant then....why are you restricting it to 8 weeks?
