    Well, there it is, McCabe is gone. Now let’s see if he’s charged with crimes.


    WASHINGTON — Andrew G. McCabe, the former F.B.I. deputy director and a frequent target of President Trump’s scorn, was fired Friday after the Justice Department rejected an appeal that would have let him retire this weekend.

    Lost his pension. Oh well.

    That said, and given what Trump has proven himself capable of, at least he was able to escape with his life.

    Hilarious! McCabe has probably more left than Michael Flynn, who lost his home due to the cost of defending himself
    against the out of control inquisition of Robert Mueller.

    If your going to charge Flynn with a crime for lying under oath McCabe has a lot more to worry about then his pension

    He won't be.

    When this is all over, he'll be exhorated too.

    Meanwhile, he will testify to his contemporaneous knowledge of Trump's attempts to pressure James Comey into dropping investigations into Russian meddling.

    Six people were involved in contemporaneous accounts of Trump's behavior. He has gone after every single one of them.

    This is the act of a petty and very small man.

    It is amazing that ignorant people don't understand that the FBI was made an Excepted Service agency to facilitate firing incompetent or disloyal employees. FBI employees do not have the merit protection that Civil Service employees have.

    Yeah this actually came from the rank and file FBI. The ones lower on the chain of command have been disheartened for some time about the corruption of those at the top and have been helping to get rid of them.
