    Any Order over Chaos in a society must be a form of Government.

    Our Constitution defines and limits our form of socialism to express Powers delegated by the People to our representatives to Government.

    It is an Express, not Implied Power delegated to our federal Congress.

    Providing for the general prosperity and general welfare is also in our Constitution.

    As I have pointed out numerous times on this forum, that while many on the far right believe this is of Marxist origin, this ideal was initially advocated by Founding Father Thomas Paine in 1795 (23 years before Marx was born) in his Agrarian Justice. It is NOT Marxism but Americanism. Small wonder why patriots believe in it while the far right hates it.

    Socialism is an economic system NOT a form of government. The Constitution is silent as to the issue of our economic system and there is nothing in it that could keep the USA from becoming a fully socialist country

    Socialism and Capitalism as most people think of them have BOTH been dead for some decades now. The world has moved beyond them and they don't exist any more. This is the danger. If they were real things then eventually one or the other would win and people would stop fighting over them, but we can struggle forever over made up fictions that only exist in people's heads anyway.
