That would be great if such an option is available. Maybe she'll allow us to try it out (turn it back on?), to see how members like it, and how effective it is.

    Thanks for your reply.

[ QUOTE="monkrules, post: 1067257761, member: 72006"]Is there any option that can be made available to enable users to decrease the size of long quotes or large images included in responders' posts? I ask, because some threads will have many responses, and many posters will include the very same L-O-N-G quotes, in their entirety, for reference.[ /QUOTE]
Highlight the whole thing and change the fontsize to 3.

Alternatively delete parts you are not directly responding to. Show that you deleted something by inserting "<snip>".

Thanks for your reply. But I already do delete anything I'm not responding to, in order to keep my response quote short as possible.

The reason I want the option to close long quotes in a thread, is to avoid having to scroll through the identical LONG posts quoted many times by other members in their posts (when I'm trying to read the thread). Sometimes a page long post will be quoted 5 or 6 times and it destroys the flow of the thread (the textual messages).

How do we get a PM to another forum member? Is the "conversations" feature the same thing?

And when will a "Help" feature be added to the page so we can look up our own questions?

Yeah, looks like Convos are the new P.M.s.

For now, regarding help, (the link on bottom right is limited) this forum can be useful:

how to use multi-quote: Great 5 minute video explanation by XenForo developer

This video explains how to use the Multi-Quote function, explains use of the Editor Window's Toolbar, and explains the "Spoiler" function.

It's well worth watching. Save the link for future reference. If used by forum members, it will allow you to reply to several people in a single post, resulting in a less cluttered forum for everyone. You can also edit the information contained in each quote so that only relevant information is in your reply. Hope you enjoy the video and find the information helpful.

If anyone has questions, I can try to help. Post them here, or send me a PM.
