"Air and artillery strikes by the US and its allies inflicted devastating loss of life on civilians in the Isis-held city of Raqqa, according to an Amnesty International report. It contradicts claims by the US, along with Britain and France, that they precisely targeted Isis fighters and positions during the four month siege that destroyed large swathes of the city."

More fake news! And as a result, we now we have a thousand jihadists heading back home. Imagine the West's self-righteous furore had it been Russia that caused such awful carnage? Interesting times??

What's interesting is, that whenever Washington committed an atrocity, it was covered up in the MSM with fake news of Russia committing greater atrocities. I'm thinking here of the American bombing of a hospital in Afghanistan, where the doctors said they were going to condemn them to the world. Well instead of their condemnation, the MSM had a field day covering it up with stories about Russia bombing non existent hospitals.

As for the destruction of Raqqa and Mosul. I think both were deliberate ethnic cleansing and genocidal campaigns to change the demographics and grab the oil and gas rich areas for an American and Israeli friendly Kurdistan.

What slayed me the most, was that Washington told the people of Mosul not to leave their homes before the bombing, and that they have precision bombs. They then proceeded to bomb homes and infrastructure without the least concern for human lives.

Actually, when Trump said the US has destroyed the caliphate I naturally thought the majority of jihadists had been killed - I mean that's what war is all about? - instead of which he has obviously released the '800' ( yeah, make it 8000+?) survivors and now, surprise surprise, they're all queueing up to get to Europe. If this is western foreign policy - simply allowing enemy survivors to pack up and wander off from the battlefield to pastures new - stop the world I wanna get off!
