LAPD DECLARES TACTICAL ALERT CITYWIDE AFTER 2 SUSPECTS FIRE AT PATROL CAR
    "LOS ANGELES (KABC) --
The Los Angeles Police Department has declared a citywide tactical alert after two suspects fired at a patrol car with a rifle Sunday night.

The incident occurred at 62nd and Hoover streets at about 9:20 p.m. Police say every available officer has been sent to the area.

One suspect is in custody. A wide perimeter is set up from Gage Avenue to 61st Street and between Hoover Street and Vermont Avenue as officers search for the second suspect.

Police say he is considered armed and dangerous.

Neighbors are being warned to stay inside. A rifle has been recovered. No officers were injured."

The grand jury process is putting cops at risk all across the country when it doesn't hold violent cops responsible for their actions. In this particular incident one perp has been arrested so he will quickly rat out his buddy and they will both end up doing long prison times.

    You know this how?

Liberal loons let thousands of violent criminals go, and you somehow know these cop killers will serve a long sentence. :roflol:

Speaking of cop assassins, does anyone remember national coverage of the funeral for the donut-shop victims of the tea-party couple back in June?

It seems that they called off the massive search for the shooting suspect early today.
http://LAPD ambush: Police call off massive search for second gunman

    http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-lapd-patrol-car-shot-20141228-story.html

"The search for a gunman believed to be involved in an attack on two police officers in South Los Angeles on Sunday night was called off just before 6 a.m. today, officials said.

A citywide tactical alert was called after the incident in which two men opened fire on a police patrol car driving southbound on Hoover Street near 62nd Street. Officers said they saw a man step off a curb, aim and shoot at them."

this is a copycat situation here. The police should be viligant in protecting themselves and it is not becasue of MB or Eric Gardner that is causing the calimity, that is just the excuse to use. Keep in mind, police officers have been ambushed by soverign citizens in Nevada, Louisiana, and Pennsylvania, and yet, no concervative was worried then.

Give Obama a break. How do expect him to produce a new rap album AND play golf? He hasn't been on vacation in a few hours. Id like to see you get up and try to do your job for a whole 8 hrs without golfing or vacationing while at the same time watching the progress of your race war on TV. Its called multi-tasking RP12.....multi-tasking.

Despite the initial hysteria the cops are starting to back away from the claim that they were victims of an ambush. Good for them. Maybe the NYPD could learn something from the LAPD about doing investigations.

“It was an ambush,” Deputy Chief Bob Green said Monday morning. “They were fired upon without any prior contact with the suspects.”

But in an interview later in the day with the Associated Press, Green said the LAPD was looking into other scenarios, including whether the officers unwittingly drove into an ongoing shooting situation: “Last night the initial assessment based on the reaction of officers and the adrenaline factor was they were getting ambushed. But you know, things change, and it takes a lot to investigate this.”

Neiman told the Los Angeles Times that investigators were looking at “a lot of other possibilities.”

Sovereign Citizens Are America’s Top Cop-Killers
    http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...n-citizens-are-america-s-top-cop-killers.html

"When Leon County Sheriff’s Deputies Christopher Smith and Colin Wulfekuhl responded to a call about a house fire in Tallahassee last Saturday, they were greeted by the burning home’s occupant, 53-year-old Curtis Wade Holley, brandishing a .40 caliber handgun. It soon became clear that the flames were no accident, as Holley proceeded to initiate a shootout with the first responders, managing to shoot and kill Smith before being gunned down by another officer.

At a press conference the following day, Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Lt. James McQuaig told reporters that the incident was clearly a planned attack by Holley, who lured first responders by setting his house on fire and waiting for it to become completely engulfed in flames before asking a next door neighbor to call 911.

“We have information that we have received that this person was anti-government, was anti-establishment and had discussed at some point in time planning to harm law enforcement,” McQuaig said. “It was a 100 percent ambush. This guy had a plan and he put this plan into action.”

Though the specifics of Holley’s anti-government beliefs and previous threats have not been reported, some bloggers have suggested that Holley identified with the burgeoning sovereign citizen movement who, in addition to their other beliefs, completely reject the authority of law enforcement.

Despite or, perhaps, because of its loose organization, the sovereign citizen movement has become a major concern for local, state, and federal law enforcement. On the most basic level, sovereign citizens don’t believe in taxes, government, or the authority of any official above a county sheriff. They are known for perpetuating so-called “paper terrorism,” filing hundreds of pages of nonsensical paperwork to local courts in an effort to avoid something as simple as a parking ticket, or submitting fake property liens or tax forms designed to destroy an enemy’s credit or get them audited
    .

Sovereign citizens are not explicitly violent, but over the past few years the number of lone wolf attacks on law enforcement by followers of the movement, have prompted the FBI to consider sovereign citizens a major domestic terrorism threat. This summer, the University of Maryland’s National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism released the results of a study finding sovereign citizens are perceived to be the single greatest threat to law enforcement, above Islamist extremists and patriot or militia groups."

The typical cop killer looks like this guy = https://pibillwarner.wordpress.com/...and-planned-to-kill-as-many-cops-as-possible/

Your article and its headline dont match but i expect that from that source.

"Though the specifics of Holley’s anti-government beliefs and previous threats have not been reported, some bloggers have suggested that Holley identified with the burgeoning sovereign citizen movement who, in addition to their other beliefs, completely reject the authority of law enforcement."

I guess bloggers suggestions = facts to Progressives now.

So, you are against freedom of speech, but not against the 2nd amendment to assassinate cops.

Oh brother, what a bitrose druel post you have made. YoMy response was appropiate given your vein attempt to make my previous post into something which was not.

So, here is the article for which I was referring to. Also keep in mind is that it is not the protests that have or should have cops worried. It is the mentally ill who have access to firearms that should have the cops worried, it is the persons who want to kill cops becasue they are members of Soverign Citizens, and it is those persons who want to politicize this whole affair in an effort to muck up the whole process.

But remember, the right is not always for the cops. You and your kind have nothing but disdain fedeeral police officers and we can look no further than Clivel Bundy as an example. Here you had a person who lost in a court battle and the feds upholding the rule of law. but you guys did not like it becasue the person fit your poltical profile and nothing was done. Cograts at your own hypocrisy.

glad no officers were injured, hope they catch the other guy soon

    - - - Updated - - -

to crazies like these two... Yes (but it wasn't just that one case this was just the one that set them off, most seem more upset about the choke hold killing)

to normal people like you and I... No

just like some will blame all protestors for the actions of cop killers, normal people will blame the cop killers for killing the cops

People shoot at occupied cars all the time in the movies. No one ever gets charged for that in the movies.
