While in the last few years the FBI database has improved in reliability it still has serious questions of internal validity and serious flaws in reliability as well. It is missing crucial data and lacks critical context discussed above.

Yep, that happened in Mesa, a suburb of Phoenix. Homeboy had a pellet gun that he was shooting at cars with from inside his hotel room. The call to the police was a man with a rifle shooting at cars from a hotel window.

I can’t believe that cop was found innocent because you can tell from the very beginning that cop was itching to squeeze the trigger. You don’t make an obvious drunk upset man walk on his knees with his arms raised.

 

If you want hard honest statistics then check Department of Justice and FBI. You must remember one thing. Latinos are grouped in with the white race in DOJ and FBI statistics.

Totally incomplete unless you know the rates at which people resist arrest.

This is the very definition of twisting statistics to fit an agenda.

A person who resists arrest is more likely (probably thousands of times more likely) to be killed by a cop than someone who doesn't. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the rates at which blacks and whites resist arrest is not equal. So get those numbers to complete this analysis.

We do know whites generally are more likely to be not arrested even if waving a gun, and we know whites are more likely to be armed. We also know that no data set is complete on exact resisting arrest data. However, unarmed blacks are more often shot and killed whether resisting or not.

 

And oddly enough, no one rioted and he wont be remembered at a BLM protest. Wrong color skin. Because only certain lives matter, to some.

 

Also, while we are debating a hot topic, I'm not using stats to create a false impression. These are hard-core facts, the best that we have.

 

We do know the whites who are armed are more likely to be legally armed.

The laws favor whites being armed while blacks are disproportionately deterred from obtaining legal gun ownership. We also know whites are responsible for most domestic acts of terrorism and mass shootings. Whites who are armed and breaking the law are less likely to be shot by police.

 

I am NOT promoting white guilt, hate myself/ourselves for being born white, but to diminish the racially dependent contexts within the US or to ignore the very real racial injustices against African Americans, is short-sighted and inaccurate.
