Another MASS SHOOTING tonight this time in Washington D.C.

They are not reporting how many shot yet, just that has drawn a large police presence.

 

Local affiliate FOX 5 is reporting at least 6 shot within blocks of the White House sometime after 10 P.M.

 

The ABC affiliate is reporting it as 3km. from the White House at the intersection of Columbia Rd. and 14th St.

 

Reuters reporting one dead and five wounded.

 

Not the best part of town. This will be gang related. Columbia Heights has had many shootings over the past couple years. I bet the media can't say a white supremacist was the shooter.

At least four people were shot late Thursday in Columbia Heights in Northwest Washington, D.C. police said.

Police said two of the victims were in critical condition after the shooting in the 1300 block of Columbia Road NW. The wounded were being transported to area hospitals.

The shooting was reported about 10:06 p.m. Police have blocked sidewalks in the area as they investigate, and police also said to expect road closures in the area.

Residents of nearby apartment buildings were seen standing outside trying to get into their homes.

In most mass shooting the gun is legal, but the shooter wasn't properly vetted. A number of shootings over the last several years involved a shooter who had a criminal or mental health history which should have barred them, but some incompetent assclown didn't property enter their information in the federal background check database.

 

This isn’t being shown much or at all. Probably because the weapons were obtained illegally where gun control laws failed once again. And I’m guessing the shooters were not white. That is the only way MSM cares.

Yep! The population are killing each other over gang territory. The area of dispute is called "U.S.A." and the weapon of choice is the free-range-everybody-has-one gun. So those who say that the end to shootings will only come when everyone has a gun are dead wrong! The only end to gun crime is when everyone has at least two guns, an RPG, a tank, and a Blackhawk helo.

 

Because sometimes new laws are needed to force people to do their jobs, For example, I support charging government clerks who fail to properly log criminal and mental health records should be charged with criminal negligence is someone they failed log is able to get a gun legally as a result.

Unless you have some other info. It's DC. It can safely be assumed to be gang violence (like the majority of mass shootings) until info emerges.

 

One might ask. How about rather than regulate guns they ban them instead. That is to say ban the ownership, sale, purchase, and manufacturing of guns. Once they do that the rest is relatively easy.

I must respectfully disagree. I've lived in the same area of the fifth largest city in the "U.S.A." for 38 years and there has never been an incident of gun crime in my area. At nearly 14,600 square miles Metro Phoenix's gun crimes can be confined to an area less than 10% (146 sq miles) of that.
