That is a bad idea. They fail to account for undiagnosed underlying conditions which could lead to serious illness or death...
Of course that's wrong but it would be the first time such things have happened, the AIDS epicemic coming to mind when there were more than a few cases of asses trying to purposely share there infection with others, so why would it be a surprise that some jackass might be willing to spend this around. I hate to have to ask you to wake up and smell the coffee but there are indeed evil asses among us who would be more than willing to share their contagion with the rest of us.

It's just social circle herd immunity. It's a bad idea because there is no Corona specific treatment. It's a matter of why folks would do it in other circumstances. Some communities watch each other's kids on schedules so parents can work and such...

By NOT quarantining everyone...you effectively quarantine no one.' And newsflash...death isn't the only issue. the hospitalization rate of this pandemic (read that again...PANDEMIC) is such that it will overcome our hospitals... What's a society like with no effective hospitals.... Yea...not good
Because we have no idea what the actual number of people who have caught the disease is we have also no idea what either the death or hospitalization rate is

Not really no. We have 300 cases 3 deaths and about 10 in the hospital confined to 19 counties out of 77. New York is paying the penalty for unlimited travel and immigration as is CA that penalty us unlimited disease vectors.
New York is a petri dish. There is not one other place in the entire country that is more conducive to the rapid and uncontrolled spread of a virus. To summarily declare that its situation will therefore be coming to your community soon, is simply untrue. None of the experts in a position of authority are even remotely making that assertion.Please stop the baseless fear mongering. You are not doing anyone any good.

Yes really. What facilitates the RAPID spread of a virus is population density. Florida, New Orleans, and "any friggen city" in our country do not have anywhere NEAR the same level of population density. Quite frankly, I am surprised that it even needs to be said. One would expect that to be common knowledge. If you did not automatically know this, you would only need to look at the reality that essentially half of all cases in our country are in the New York metro area. Did you somehow think that was a coincidence?
