my best friend in college was black, i’m a latino immigrant. Not a single black person i know has ever complained about being mistreated by cops. Then again, they all follow the law, respect cops, have clean records.

How about parents just teach kids to abide by laws, respect cops and if ever stopped by a cop, obey commands? This would save many lives and much better advise than telling kids to fear police, there is nothing to fear if you follow the law and respect cops.

I don't think that changing the question is an answer.

Police excessive force is a real problem and I mention some issues below and it happens too often to people regardless of the race of the cop or the suspect. Bringing race into it is polarizing, distracting from the real need to push for reforms like body cameras on cops and more. Throwing a race riot might seem easy, fun and even profitable for some people but bringing meaningful reform takes hard work. It means suiting the daylights out of those who commit offense (The individual transgressor, very hard to do with their immunity protections, or the entity that hired the cop). Staying with the case, lobbying, doing interview circuits, etc. But a race riot? That's like the captain that says, "The flogging will continue until moral improves".
ITMT: how many stats have you seen showing very little per capita white cops killing unarmed black suspects? To my knowledge there is very little reason to think racism is a serious issue here.

Agreed. I was responding to someone that wrote in an accusatory manner, "So you admit George was a criminal!" and I do. I don't think I wrote anything else otherwise. I dunno why he phased it that way and in the end, YOU are right: it doesn't matter for reasons you state.

Yes, and I understand Democratic POTUS hopeful, Amy Klobuchar worked hard to keep the killer on the police roll. Cops are government union members. They have power. They also have military gear without military training and rules of engagement. A soldier that shoots a guy in a war zone seems to have more rules to obey or suffer the consequence than these cops. Candace Owens does a lot of terrific work in this area pointing out that there is a lot of need in the Black community, but if the Democratic party can convince Black people every election cycle that the big ole racists are the primary problem for them, they can then say things like, "Vote for me or you aint Black." and then ignore the communities real needs till next cycle.

Horrible about this football player. Horrible that more Black people were murdered during the few days of these riots than are killed by cops in a year.

BLACK LIVES MATTER (when a white cop takes it, everything else is OK apparently)
