I despise Trump but youve never seen me say anything violent about him. I think hes trash with money and ive said that....but still nothing about him being harmed or leaving. Alot of the cons here cant say that.
They're out in full force showing their bigotry, intolerance, and hatefulness. This whole time I've been told by them that we're the hateful bigots.
Ask people...i do. While I am at it I will be watching to see how many dogpiles you join in on towards libs AND how many times you thank ugly posts. Ok?
Not only that, but if there were, we're talking about maybe 0.0001% of those that voted. It's not like Trump ever stated any policies in favor of, or rallied for white supremacists. He was never accused of being a racist until he put an ( R ) by his name and ran for president.
Probably almost as many times as I've been called a racist, homophobe, xenophobe, islamophobe, misogynistic sexist, or bigot full of hatred. Conservatives have always been called names as well.
Legal Somali immigrants were reporting feeling frightened after a layover speech in Minnesota, so yeah, some immigrants are frightened, understandably so. Know what your typing about before you type.
Why would they be frightened? If they're legal, there's no problem. Again, my mother is a legal immigrant from Colombia. She hates border jumpers more than anybody, because she came the legal way while everyone else jumped in line. That's why she voted Trump. So I feel like I know what I'm talking about.
Are you asking me to justify someone else feelings? Why do people need to justify their feelings? I don't know if their fears would be so easily consoled by your assurance that they will be fine. I do know that's how they said they felt, and that I am not so arrogant as to need their justification for their feelings. In this case your mom is largely irrelevant, since your comparing someone from a completely different part of the world who entered the country a completely different way.
What I said is that it was after the (R) was assigned that he started saying things that people found racist. I am confused because your post fails to address what I said and seems to suggest I have an obligation to prove what trump said was, in fact, racist. That isn't something that I posited, and is a matter of its own and outside the confines of what your responding to. To clarify; Are you denying people found any of his statements racist? Are you arguing that Trump has said statements similar to what found racist started before the (R) but were largely ignored?
Why do you expect that everybody else walk on egg shells to preserve somebody else's feeling? Yet, you do expect other people to censor their opinions in order to preserve others feelings?
I don't expect anyone to walk on eggshells, that's a construct of your imagination. When people express there feelings I get bothered when people arrogantly ask for a justification. It strikes me as rude to question emotions, unless one suspects they are not genuine. Do you believe that the somali woman in questions feelings aren't genuine?
Yes, she entered the country legally. If you're here illegally, yes, be afraid. Also, if youre here illegally, you shouldn't be. So I don't really have any sympathy for you.
I believe that if that somali women expects me to sincerely understand and respect her fear, then yes, she needs to explain it.
Nor should he. That would be bowing down to the wimpy liberals throwing a fit because they didn't get their way. When your child has a temper tantrum, you just ignore it, same goes for liberal tantrums.
