    Donald Trump has capped over a month of court losses wiht one more loss in Wisconsin, before a Federal Court jusge he appointed only months ago. This case was along similar lines to the SCOTUS one - that Wisconsin officials broke their own electoral laws. Judge Ludwig examined the facts of the case & then dismissed it 'with prejudice'.

    Trump does not understand the legal system in the United States. He thinks because he is president he ought to be able to do anything he wants to.

    This case neatly torpedoes a couple of Republican lies:

    1) That courts have not examined the detail of their allegations. In fact, courts have done so on a number of occasions and dismissed them as being without substance as this judge did;

    2) That states broke their own electoral laws. While this case only covered Wisconsin, it showed fairly conclusively that the things Republicans claim to be 'illegal' are nothing of the sort.

    Of course, this won't stop the claims. As I have said before, Trumpers are largely divided between those incapable of understanding tha tthe ylost because they live in a bubble of unreality, and those who know he lost but think that 'trolling libs' is the ultimate expression of conservative values. Given their inability to do things like take personal reponsibility or respect the constitution perhaps they think conservatism is just about trolling.

    Yes, why did they sit on their hands and only bitch whinge moan and groan only AFTER they lost. Just crazy stuff and demonstrates how totally disingenuous these 'suits' really are.

    So you are saying that Trump appointed very good people and the democrats were wrong for trying to block them?

    Trump Always Loses.

    I think he must be a masochist that relishes the public humiliation.

    Why else would he keep filing these useless (and laughable) lawsuits?

    No doubt that Trump's appointees have seen and read the same manure as I did, and for said reason, they've distance themselves from Trump. In other words, their decisions have been impartial.

    Someone rightfully pointed out that as the sitting president he should have had every law firm on the country vying to represent him. Instead he has Rudy’s clown car

    Every judge Trump has appointed has been unanimous along with the other judges on the outcome of the election. The courts agree, the election officials agree, DHS agrees, the Attorney General whom Trump appointed agrees.. but of course Trump's lawyers don't agree, and in the end shouldn't they be the one's to hold the authority in determining the outcome of the election?

    Yes, Trump should have put every lawyer in the country on his rigged election claim.
    But it doesn't matter cause there is no case to prove a rigged election.
    Not even a poor one.

    But this I find interesting;

    Trump needed his rigged election lie to stay in office. Had he succeeded we might never learned it was a lie in the first place.

    What we are observing is the aftermath of his lie. A dictator who failed to make it work.

    In the world of a dictator nothing needs to be real or genuine. They can only survive by lies, which is why they are dictators in the first place.

    If Trump's lawyers are clowns it's because they never needed to be anything else.

    It's only now we find out the magnitude of Trump's presidential charade.

    Collapsing before our eyes. But enjoyable!

    I find this sentence in your important missive to be the best description of how the Guiliani ilk have conducted themselves. =
    "If Trump's lawyers are clowns it's because they never needed to be anything else."

    Well said.

    Every respectable lawyer abandoned him over a month ago.

    All that he has left are people like Rudy, Ellis, Etc. (Insults to the legal profession who are just begging to be disbarred).

    The reputable firms quit early on. Some judge is gonna smack some fool with a Rule 11 violation if it doesn't stop.

    Trump lost the election because after four years of his mis rule the American people had seen enough of him, they had heard enough of his inarticulate raving, and they had suffered enough. Every day as many people die from COVID-19 as died during 9/11, or the invasion of Normandy. Unemployment rates have reached Depression Era levels.

    Nevertheless, the Trumpers have the nerve to brag about "a roaring economy" as though the pandemic is fake news dreamed up by the liberal media.

    Their claim or worse yet their belief that the economy is roaring is a symptom of a totally delusional mind or some twisted attempt to con themselves into believing it is true.

    True the reputable law firms said bye bye earlier rather than drown in the Trumpian swamp that Hannibal Lecter Giuliani finds such joy in swimming in.
