...you need to try MSM! (Methylsulfonylmethane) My knees are so bad that I know I have to get replacement surgery - No getting around it. But! ...if you want to procrastinate... or if surgery is just not an option then I HIGHLY recommend trying MSM. It has been a (Day to Day) life changer for me. I can now walk up the stairs in my house without wincing in pain. Seriously, it really can help!

....but the key is taking at least 5 grams (or more) a day.

Now that really is a bummer. Have you tried chasing it with Apple cider vinegar? Though it seems like vinegar would actually make heartburn worse ACV actually can stop HB in it's tracks. Also a handful of almonds helps also.

ACV would be worse for heartburn. I can't eat nuts due to diverticulitis.
I have rheumatoid arthritis and take nothing for it. I have lots of ace bandages though and braces for wrists, knees, ankles, fingers. I have it mostly under control (the RA) but have flareups often. After much studying, I went with a more natural approach in combating this disease. I watch what I eat and no gluten. Ever. No red meat. No soda pop. No fatty foods. Its not just the RA I have to keep under control. I know the MSM/Glucosamine is good..I just have to take it once in awhile so it doesn't upset my stomach.

All in all...I prefer it this way...my own way. I refuse to put poisons in my body, which is why I declined chemo when I had breast cancer. Xmas it will be 4 years cancer free. Or will it be 5? I don't remember, nor want to. All I know is..it's gone and I want it to stay gone. The RA problem? Well...if my great greats could still farm and deal with it...so can I.

I'm sorry to hear that. It's great that you have the Cancer gone!! You probably already know but taking Mega dosas of Vitamin C is one of the best things in reducing the likelihood of getting Cancer... or as used as a maintenance regime from helping it to not come back.

...one more thing, I also suffer from bouts of bad heartburn. A tablespoon of ACV (for me) alleviates it.

ACV is great for psoriasis/excema too as a shampoo. I am a big believer on ACV. Stuff is magic.

    I love EarthClinic:

Another thing to combat RA or the other 100's of arthritis is TUMERIC. Did you know the government tried to outlaw the selling of tumeric off spice shelves? They wanted to use it in the drug administration to sell it AS a drug but they lost the attempt due to tumeric being used for thousands of years as a spice. TUMERIC kicks RA butt.

Another thing that is good for you is CBD oil. But, it's hard to find. Unless you live in colorado. It is pot...without the high (THC). Some vape it, some use salve, some use lotion, some take a pill. Read up on it. It also supposedly can cure cancer but its very hush hush because if it can cure cancer....the drug companies lose MILLIONS.

Oh, and don't forget the Manuka honey. Some green tea, sprinkle of tumeric, dash of ACV, sweetened with Manuka honey? Sigh of relief.
