Since we all agree that Hillary is our next President, I would like to point out there are many ways to defeat Hillary with the proper frame of mind. There was an apparent disharmony between Republicans here in 2007 and reality and I think being back that curtain all the Reps hide behind has been pulled back. I am 44 years old and my son just turned 18. He is a Millenial: one of the new majority that will be running the country 5-15 years from now and let me tell you, they have a vastly different opinion from what us oldies think. One flaw in America is that we are borrowing $1 Trillion per year to balance the budget. It is illogical: if we have to borrow money to pay the bills, there is something wrong. The most logical and direct solution is to simply raise corporate income taxes. As of the 2010 Federal Reciepts, Income Taxes were 41% of the total reciepts while Corporate Income Taxes are 9%... there clearly is a disharmony there. The past 30 years have been spent by our government systematically looting the coffers and letting the dogs out and today's Republicans still think RR is the "Eternal President". The Republicans need to take a couple of steps down from their podiums and meet with the rest of us regular folk. There are many inevitabilites in our future and our course of actions have never been this obvious. Which party/candidate is going to address reality and which will fight it? I was a Republican from 18 until 2008. Sorry guys, you lost me. And you guys have NOTHING to offer intelligent, level-headed, realistic people that in actuality run the world. It's not all about you. As I told my sone since he was 6 (and we were playing army men) "One man cannot kill 50 men".
Amazing... I am offering real actual change, but there's a flashy other thread similar to this one offering nothing of substance.
So when your rise in corporate tax does not offset the expected rise in entitlement spending what will you do then? Its funny that your solution is very obviously not going to cut it yet you still put it forth as a solution. That is the problem with those on the left, they come up with fixes that we know will not work because of their partisan beliefs.
Obviously attending psychic school since he came back to tell the future. Amusing how those who voted for Loser Obama are so anxious to vote for Old Lady Clinton while whining about Republicans not offering any good candidates. .
Granny didn't know you was gone... ... Uncle Ferd didn't miss ya... ... but possum was lookin' fer ya... ... where'd ya go?
What exactly is the point of this thread and why is it in Elections & Campaigns? I looked for something to respond to, but there is nothing except some nonsense about intelligent, level-headed, realistic people running the world. Maybe it should be moved to Humor & Satire.
I agree with your post. (And that I 'ever' voted Republican, seems like a bad dream to me today. Back then, I was essentially a Bible-thumping idiot.)
Let's just say, that I once took the Republican Platform seriously enough, to vote for Republican political candidates. (Daddy Bush, was one I helped to get elected.) Eventually, I began to see extremism take over on the Right; and I had a pretty good heads-up on that, sitting in my very conservative, fundamentalist church. I would have likely been more of a Goldwater Conservative, IF the Republicans had not gone so extremely to the Right. And now after the Tea Party shenanigans and the abject racism... they have surely lost me for life.
Oh please. The majority of abject racism comes from the mouths of leftists who need to continue to fan the flames of racism in order to further their political ideology. The do this because they cant win without taking advantage of the lesser advantaged people in our society. You accuse the right of being racist when in fact the ultimate form of racism is handed down from the left in the guise of a helping hand that does nothing except hold minorities on the top of the head, keeping them poor, on assistance and uneducated. Right where the left needs them in order to buy votes with the promise of more free stuff. Please disagree so I can post some more Obamaisms and bidenisms again. Then we can move on to the MSNBC racist attack on the Romney Grandchild.
When you said "Since we all agree that Hillary is our next President" that this was a joke thread. You mean you were serious???
So please furnish a comprehensive list of Republican proposals to help minorities. Or maybe you could do something easier and give us the Republican party plan to improve educational opportunities in minority communities. Or maybe just give us another rant totally devoid of ideas.
Deflection anyone? Dem policies have managed to give blacks sky high unemployment and broken families. Now they want to know how Rep's plan to fix the mess they've made. How typical.
Now post for our edification the gains black people made during Republican administrations. Maybe you could prove your point that it is all the Democrats fault by contrasting gains made during Republican administrations with the losses you claim lacks made during Democratic administrations. Or maybe you should just blather on without documenting any of your claims which is what I suspect you will do.

Posted definition of "antithesis " in case you wanted to help.
Well, the blacks did make progress during the first R administration. In the last 50 years, it has been difficult for the blacks to make progress under a R administration due to their being under the thumb of "Santa Claus democrats' policies. Blacks has allowed themselves to be made economic slaves to the D party's lies and policies.
For a person of average intelligence, "opposition" was the obvious definition. It's sad that you don't qualify.
I'm sure you have that wrong. - - - Updated - - - Problem now, is Republicans are leaning so far Right, they are about to fall over.
