America had become increasingly liberal now spending $8 trillion (Fed and State). Liberalism failed so libs have doubled down and now want huge increase in spending to make up for their failure. This is trend that led to 120 million slowly starved to death. Capitalism is the solution. Do you get it now?

Either: Socialism in practice is vastly more complex & variable than the definition you offer here, since no practicing socialist country in W Europe is striving to become communist. . .or
all the so-called "socialist" ideas being currently offered by Democratic candidates for President aren't really "socialist" at all--just alternative capitalist ideas.
    Take your choice. :)

you have learned 34 times this is because liberals shipped their jobs to China with: taxes unions deficits trade deals regulations and then invited in 30 million illegals to bid down wages for remaining jobs. Now do you understand? Shall we go for 35?

What an amazing leap of logic! The fantasies people can connoct to justify their silliness is alwas a point of amusement. I guess by that logic because the Catholic Church supported or at the very least didn't condemn the slaughter of the jews then the nazis the nazis must have been all catholics.

Wrong of course in human history all countries go toward concentrated govt. That is why our genius founders gave us freedom from liberal central govt. It was the shot heard round the world. Only American Republicans stand against this tide of history. We created Europe after WW2 and we only keep them from going communist. As it is they are more to the left and have 50% of our gDp. GOt it now?

I can think of several possible answers to your question. While there have been scattered, isolated examples of communal living in the U.S thru history, it's rare, and not something in the consciousness of most Americans. So, my first response is simply that most Americans just wouldn't think of that answer. Another possibility is that communal living is socially connected with the over-arching word, communism, which has a deserved awful reputation globally. No American in their right mind wants to be connected with anything "communist". That would be socially suicidal, and a source of unrelenting stigma from society. There may be other reasons I've not thought of.

You don't read the papers. Most of the liberal Democrats have come out as socialists.

Lenin: "The goal of socialism is communism"

Norman Thomas ( socialist presidential candidate)
The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of 'liberalism' they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.

Please post the polls that show where the majority of liberal voters have come out as socialists. You probably can't even post actual evidence that the majority of announced Democratic candidates have announced as Socialist which is probably what you were trying to say. Oh and pretending that classical ssocialism is the same as Democratic Socialism is disingenuous at best.

    1. You make a good point here. Since your outcome & my original issue seem equally intolerable, perhaps the answer lies somewhere in between?
    2. You make good points here too, but. . .by "remedying disparity" I'm not seeking financial or economic "equality." I'm seeking a system that assures the vast majority of Americans actually benefit from America's growing wealth in their own personal lives in a measurable way. They don't need to become "rich," but they need to become improved economically along with society in general, as America creates new wealth. There will always be individuals who don't want to cooperate, but they must NOT be permitted to determine the outcome here.

I'm not asking for economic "equality." I'm asking for economic improvement for the majority of Americans as our nation produces more wealth. I agree there will be challenges I don't have an easy answer for, but that's up to those living & managing that change, isn't it? I am simply distressed by the revelation that the vast majority of our citizens have worked a lifetime and never benefited from the growing wealth of our nation. That's unacceptable, and must NOT be continued.

Pardon me, but I believe the largest spending recent Presidents were GW Bush & Trump. Why do you blame liberals for over spending when Republicans were the real culprits?

The middle class is shrinking, and they have formed a large part of the consumer group in America in the past. That means they were a big part of whatever success you're attributing to capitalism.

How can I believe the accuracy of your post when I've repeatedly corrected you on your figure of "30 million illegals" as a fake statistic? If that part is fake, how can anyone believe the rest?

I can see you have a simple answer for everything. But I strongly question the accuracy of your world view.

Marx, a theorist, may have perceived it that way, but in the world of practical politics, it has never worked that way.

Insane of course!! It was the norm throughout all of human history!! This is why our Founders created Republican freedom. The shot heard around the world is the only thing preventing a rapid return to the norm. Now do you understand?

don't be 100% absurd. Republicans have introduced 30 Balanced Budget Amendments and Democrats have killed every single one. Trump just went up to $4.7 trillion and Democrats are all over denouncing it as cruel. 1+1=2
