They could have done this sooner. Will there be any surprising Revelations? I hope this will provide more transparency:

So does mean that radical right groups and individuals, such as Crooked Donnie, should make their finances open as well?

Organizations like BLM should be as transparent as possible.

It probably doesn't matter much, most folks already knew that they were frauds, this just cements it.

A year ago 60% trusted BLM and 56% trusted the police.
Now, only 50% trust BLM and 69% trust the police.

Reason is re-asserting itself after the Authoritarian faction on the Left's national rioting and gas-lighting campaign.

I think it works fine here, given that the thread is about BLM's finances, and clearly the share that a founder is raking in and what she is doing with her windfall, but, please feel free.

CA is 6.5% black, so there goes the left's equity in ratios crap and their song and dance about diversity. Now this broad moves into a city with hardly any blacks, why? She could have revitalized a black neighborhood by buying a few broken down homes and fixing them up so disadvantaged, under represented and marginalized people could live in them.

Sports journalist Jason Whitlock, who’s himself black, sarcastically called out Cullors for her blatant hypocrisy.

“Black Lives Matter founder buys $1.4 million home in Topanga, which has a black population of 1.4%. She’s with her people!” he tweeted Friday.

Whitlock's tweet was removed by the Twitter police and his account suspended. One is not allowed to mock your overlords on the vertically aligned authoritarian Left. Absolute close-mouthed agreement is required, when one does communicate, it must be jubilant adoration. Failure to obey results in suspension, cuz, "justice".

A secluded mini-compound tucked into L.A.’s rustic and semi-remote Topanga Canyon was recently sold for a tad more than $1.4 million to a corporate entity that public records show is controlled by Patrisse Khan-Cullors, 37-year-old social justice visionary and co-founder of the galvanizing and, for some, controversial Black Lives Matter movement.

Northern California Giant Social Media Platform, Twitter, Censors Criticism of BLM Founder Buying $1.4 Million Home In Predominantly White Neighborhood

The expanding censorship on Twitter and the social media giants of Northern CA continues to exert existant control over the national and global political conversation. Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors, only 37, purchased a $1.4 million home in a secluded area of Los Angeles whose population is less than 2% black.
Whitlock's expression of his contempt for the purchase is core political speech.
    https://jonathanturley.org/2021/04/...ion-home-in-predominantly-white-neighborhood/

They are raking in the dough. These "thoroughly trained marxists" made a major home purchase by corporate support, professed Marxist Cullors, has been paid handsomely by corporations like Warner and is being actively protected by corporations like Twitter. The question is equal opportunity to speak on platforms like Twitter without Corporate Censorship.

    1) Jason Whitlock is Irrelevant (and, so are his opinions).
    2) Anybody who has a problem with Twitter's policies is free to move on, stop using Twitter, or invent there own.
    ^Problem solved.
    3) As far as the purchase of the house (and the source of the funds used to purchase it)?
If anyone (like the head of Greater NYC/BLM) feels that an investigation is in order (or crimes were committed) then the aggrieved parties should bring it on (instead of whining about it on social media).
This egregious embezzlement (at a bare minimum) is worthy of a Special Prosecutor, a Select Congressional Committee, and an Investigation that makes the 9/11 Commission look like the inquiry into a dismissed jaywalking ticket.

Hopefully, Cullors can get a good lawyer and plead to Life without Parole (and crawl out from under a Federal Death Penalty Rap).
    Godspeed.:salute:

Everyone is relevant, as are their opinions.
Do you support gas stations refusing to allow motorists with Biden stickers to refuel their car? Hotels to refuse to rent them rooms? Restaurants to refuse them entry? Twitter participated in the coordinated attack to put Parlar off line when many folks tried to move from Twitter to Parlar. If Twitter has demonstrated anything, it's that they should no longer be receiving special treatment from Congress and that they should be subject to the very same rules as everyone else.
Wrong! If they feel like voicing their views, they are free to do so. Even the head of New York City’s Black Lives Matter chapter is calling for an independent investigation into the organization’s finances in the wake of the controversy. The New York Post and other publications have reported that Cullors is eyeing expensive properties in other locations, including the Bahamas. When you are raking in $Millions, and $Millions, and $Millions of tax-exempt donations, you damn sure are accountable for how you spend it. Personally, I would like to see all salaries at tax-exempt businesses capped at the pay rate of an associate Supreme Court Justice. If you want to make more, fine, but pay taxes on your income, just like everyone else. I love how these "progressives" and "marxists" and "anti-corporatists" all turn into "Libertarians" as soon as someone asks for transparency to explain how their massive donation windfalls for "social justice" suddenly turned into 30 year olds on exclusive property buying sprees.
If their last names were Trump, they probably would already be under a FISA warrant, even if the FBI had to lie and forge to get it, with an array of high officials combing through their every communication and listening in on their phone calls. Enough of this Two Americas Crap.

Those easily debunked "talking points" have been around for ages.
At this point, they have been posted so many times that they don't even move the needle.

Once again, I am sorry that the Extreme RW dropped the ball on inventing Twitter.

    :roflol:

    Big deal. So what?

Hawk Newsome has no relation to the Black Lives Matter Global Network (“BLM”) founded by Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tometi — and is not the “president” of BLM or any of its chapters.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawk_Newsome

Also, Cullors signed a "lucrative deal" with WB:

    https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/bl...ros-television-group-overall-deal-1234806076/

And, the monthly payment on a $1.4 Million House is chump change.

    Oh? Ok.:bored:

If anyone thought she gives a **** about black lives this only cements it. She only cares about her life and using as many useful idiots as possible. BLM was always a fraud and all the morons who donated to them are complicit in the stupidity.

Same with Obama. Seems he’s done his best to get as far away as possible from all those who voted for him.

Those with the biggest mouths regarding racial injustice are ALWAYS the biggest hypocrites.

    Not really.

It's over $6,000/mo for a 100% financing at last week's average 30 year mortgage rate of 3.13%. That needs roughly an $18,000/mo income to support, or $216,000 a year. And that puts these "dedicated trained marxists" in the top 1% of US "earners".

So, "social justice" seems to be paying them, very well.

Fundraising off tragedies and whipping up riots, which results in more tragedies, lather/rinse/repeat.

Last year, BLM raked in tens of millions-of-dollars as cities around the country were burned in riots, totaling more than $1 billion in damage.

The Associated Press reports that $90 million donated to the political group in 2020 isn't reaching local activists.
POLITICO shows that many individuals who founded the movement continue to take advantage of its public success while shafting local activists.
    the outlet reported in December.
    the AP reports.

Reminds me of Al Gore's spending spree and massive spike in energy consumption after he hit it big with his "Earth in a Lurch" powerpoint turned into a movie.

    So what?

She has an estimated net worth of about $1 Million (and just signed a deal with WB) and can easily afford the payments.

Besides, this entire Cullors thing is a complete non-story.

EXCEPT in the eyes of the Extreme RW looking for the latest installment of "Hey! Lookie Here! BLM Bad!" Faux Outrage material
