    Height is a big factor in using ladders. Anyone who has ever attempted going up a ladder fifty feet and then clmbing off of it onto a roof can tell you it will stop a very large percentage of people. Add to that deterrent factors built on top of the fence and the percentage it will stop is squared.

    These walls extend underground too. Having said that no lock is perfect but you still lock your home and your car and locking our border is the same principle.

    Not sure of your point? Why didn't they use a ladder during these "tests"? Too afraid to show how easy it is to thwart the wall?

    True, but we don't spend $10K on the deadbolt on our front door. We should definitely not waste $18B on a useless wall.

    Did any of the tests involve trying to blow a hole in it, or dig under it? We're any of the commandos outfitted with a ladder?

    I can easily believe that commandos with construction equipment would have difficulty drilling their way through the wall. I just don't see illegal immigrants trying to beat the barrier like that.

    I want them to show me a video of "special forces" using a ladder and being thwarted by a 30-50 ft wall. because I can scale that by myself with my extension ladder.
