Just to mention a historical fact related to this discussion. No one was deported from the U.S. after the Treaty of Hdalgo was signed. The Mexicans who became Americans after this treaty were extremely fortunate as are their descendants.

Cimb off the ladder onto the wall and sit precariously atop a 40 ft wall which is designed not to have a user friendly top and pull up a forty foot ladder as you try to keep your balance and not fall off. Then lower the ladder to the other side onto perfectly flat ground ( which is rare in these areas)so the ladder is stable. Then climb off the wall and onto the ladder to get down. Then the next immigrant in line with his ladder does the same thing and then the next and then... Are you serious?

Exactly. You can't stop a truly determined professional thief but you can stop 90% of people that might steal from you if you made it easy. Same goes for securing our border. We can definitely stop the hoards which makes the few much easier to find and deal with over the many miles of desert they have to cross after getting over the actual border.

 

Not even 90%. What percentage of illegals cross our Southern border illegally? How many enter the US legally or enter illegally via other borders?
