Appeals Court dismisses Mar-A-Lago Special Master

I'm not sure why stopping the DOJs investigation is a bad thing. Nothing about this is normal. There's no reason, given the track record of the DOJ and FBI, why they should be trusted with this investigation. Afterall, It's the same agency that illegal obtained a FISA warrant.

After reading the 11th circuit's legal shaming of Cannon, a Trump appointee, it's hard to believe that seasoned judged would have gone where she did.
If the 11th didn't do what they did then EVERY person who had a search warrant and property seized would be entitled to a Special council.

 

This entire case is extraordinary. A former POTUS never had their residence raided by a mob of armed FBI agents who refused any of Trump's attorneys to observe what they were doing. The warrant itself is suspicious because it was very vague and broad. Despite the stated policy of the FBI using least invasive procedures. Connor probably had reservations about putting herself in the middle of this political **** show. I wouldn't blame her for that. Yet, when she did, she didn't back down. She ruled based on her legal analysis of the arguments presented to her court.

You said there is no harm in stopping this investigation because the FBI h had a history of falsifying data. Did they falsify data on Hilary and why do you not question their findings?

 

I can't see the SC taking up this case. Ever since Gore vs Bush they seem less motivated to get involved in political disputes. But with Trump running in 2024 I can see him wanting to appeal it. He can use his victimhood status in campaigning.

Trump can try to stop using any legal means. Cannoin shouldn't be allowed to invent rules to please her boss.

Trump's team didn't even know to request a special master. Canon was the one who brought the idea to them because she's working with them.
