Republicans dont want America to vote by mail because it means a much higher voter participation rate, and they know that's bad for them. So, I suggest we ALL apply for an absentee ballot right now!!! You can say you wont be in town that day, nobody is gonna check. As far as I am concerned you have the right to vote by mail, as long as you are a legal registered voter. https://www.vote.org/absentee-ballot/ click on the above link to apply
yes, the website is legit. I just tried it. I think you can leave out your phone number. Or just make up one.
Every state will let you vote by absentee ballot if you will be out of town on Election Day. ● 28 states and the District of Columbia offer “no excuse absentee voting.” Any voter in these states can vote by absentee ballot, even if they are able to vote in person on Election Day. ● 17 states require an excuse in order to vote absentee. Voters in these states will need to provide a valid excuse for not voting on Election Day in order to vote by absentee ballot. ● 5 states have elections that are held by mail-in ballot. Voters in these states only need to request an absentee ballot if they need their ballot mailed to a different address
https://www.usa.gov/election-office you can also go to this official govt. website to apply for an absentee ballot in your state
no it appears they dont want citizens to vote in large numbers if they are going to vote Blue. hence Republicans HATE the idea of all registered voters being mailed a mail-in ballot.
I'm a conservative registered Republican and I would like to see every adult citizen vote. I know of no Republican who thinks differently, your claim not withstanding. Though that voter needs verification that he or she is indeed an adult citizen residing in the locale of their voting precinct. That verification is infinitely harder to do with en masse mail-in voting, and that is why the Democrats want it.
