    Considering picking up an extra BCG for "just in case". What other parts would be advantageous to get an extra 1 or 2 of?

    Bought 200rds of 5.56 and picked up twenty 30-round magazines. Palmetto State has great sales right now. Figure I'd get while the gettin is good.

    Look for "field repair kit" on sites like Primary Arms. These have extras of some parts and don't include parts you likely won't ever need to replace.

    one of the best bolt carrier groups made is by company an hour from my home in Ohio called HM defense. their BCG eliminates some of the weak points of the standard design. There will be a run on magazines if the gun banners start squealing but with the mid terms coming up, the anti gun extremists are going to be muzzled by their less avid masters because they want to milk the Roe reversal as much as possible and don't want to urinate off the independent gun owners

    Best mags on the market are the lancers. High impact plastic with steel lips. IMHO far better than the P-Mags Another good choice though heavy, were british Sterling STANAG stainless steel rigs

    Would an Aero Precision parts kit work in a different brand lower or are they proprietary?

    Bog standard. The only concern would be larger pivot pin holes on Colt lowers. Do you have a Colt?

    I'm a brand whore on most things, there is a huge price difference though. I imagine I'm not really missing anything by buying cheaper, and I can buy more lowers.

    Would you rather quality or quantity?

    Ordered 5 Lancers, and looking at the HMBolt now. Odd they only take orders over the phone.

    senile joe is really hoping to get obliterated during the midterms. Then I guess he can blame his many failures on the GOP for the last two years of what appears to be the worst administration since the TV was invented

    I would say if you want spare parts just get a second gun it's cheaper than getting it piecemeal. Plus you got a second gun to play with. If a part fails scavenge
