Okay...maybe you will react to this one:

Or you can watch another of the 15000 youtube videos debunking your position.

Animals have a morality that is all too real to themselves and they make assessments and judgments daily in order to survive.

also in India there is very human like behaviour by monkeys...kidnapping and adoption of dog pups, initially it was believed they were kidnapping the pups as food but it turned out they were raising them as pets ... the dogs would remain with the troop as adults...

Actually, the terms "anthropomorphism" and "anthropomorphizing" involves attributing human traits, emotions or intentions to non-human things. Yes, animals can be a target of anthropomorphism, but so can gods, machines, natural objects (e.g., volcanos), etc. Indeed, the most common application these days is to transfer humans characteristics to imaginary constructs such as gods.

It seems to be a fact that animals share some things with human beings, since we are animals as well. To call all comparisons anthropomorphizing is not correct. We share commonalities with other creatures, even behavior. How can it not be so?

In regards to humans being animals, some of us are more animalistic than others. lol

it must be so, genetically we have much in common with most animals, physically we share genetic material why shouldn't that include thought processes our brains have the same origin...even reptiles like crocodiles as distant they are from us genetically have a motherly instinct for their hatch-lings watching over them...

Dragons of Eden, by Sagan. A fascinating treatise on the evolution of the human brain and intelligence. It even addresses the specific issue of shared common behaviors across taxonomic classes.

There is no biological argument that can detach homo sapiens from the animal kingdom. There are lots of intellectual arguments (of widely varying quality), most of which demand a large dollop of human conceit to accept.

    Exactly!

Just because we humans lack the ability to communicate with animals some of us fallaciously assume that animals lack the same abilities that we have.

and do they even need to be the same?...we have an egocentric view of what intelligence is, that it must be the same as ours...dolphins and elephants have developed in their environments to what works for them, they have no need of technology which we associate with intelligence, maybe they're our intellectual equals but our intellect is just different.

It's difficult to put into words but if you've seen the movie Arrival about humans attempting to communicate with an alien intelligence that is very unlike ours. Where do you find commonality to communicate with a thought process that is totally different from how we view life?

I think it’s due to ignorance which is a plague on society, and it's at its worst when it's willful ignorance; that is, when you have a person who knows nothing about a subject, and refuses to be bothered with something as trivial and useless as learning about it before they open their mouth.
Sorry to hear you were a victim of child abuse.

Uh, I have eaten mushrooms all of my life, I started cooking at age 8, I made all manner of eggs and sauteed mushrooms, and they definitely do not taste like dirt, soil, maybe you have never eaten mushrooms.

And at age 8, I was picky about food, and taste, if mushrooms tasted like soil or dirt, I would not have eaten them.

Yes, and none of that is relevant, Religion is another separate issue.

Dogs do not have higher cognitive functions and hence, human morality, Dogs save people's lives and defend them from attack, pull people off railroad tracks !

    And out of burning buildings.

In spite of this, Dogs are limited due to lesser mental abilities.
Read the studies of animal behavior.
