I did read it. I do not think you are qualified to say that .... not in context. At what age should coca-cola be legally consumed? Seriously, it seems to me that the question of legality hinges on how much influence big business can wield (read 'bribe') NOTE: I am not necessarily disagreeing with you, just scrutinizing the "t"'s and "i"'s.
That's a real issue, but I have a friend that has smoked nearly every day since the 60s. He's in his 70s, his home is worth over a million, he jogs regularly. So... if it's killing him, it's taking it's own sweet time doing it.
I grow my medicinal pot, make extract, and put that in capsules. Seeds are expensive, legalisation will bring the price down. The price of LED lights has come down. I got one this year, it uses 265 watts, it works. I'd include a tent, a really good fan and a filter. A lot of that pot nutrient stuff is for people that have never gardened. I get good potting soil made for pot, and use a tiny bit or liquid organic nutes while it's in flower. Getting started will set you back a few hundred. Considering that it doesn't cost a lot more than buying an ounce of the really good stuff, that's a lot of bang for your buck. But, it is legal here, so you do have that to consider. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019ETLC7M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I don't see your friend being mentioned in the title of the thread and I am not clairvoyant. Simply telling me what your friend was smoking must be too difficult a task?
Europe is best when each state is given its own special history and when places like the Netherlands are not paying for the welfare state for the south and East that are devouring the EU like a parasite.
Yeah, we're having that issue in the US right now. Treating people who work for a living as though they are slaves government to pay for people who don't want to work. And I don't know why people don't understand when you give someone something they just want more.
Only in "Conservative-Land" where tax cuts increase revenues, and brave people with guns protect us from government attacks on free speech by hiding behind their keyboards.
Yep.. I grew some a couple years when young and before marriage. After marriage I no longer wanted the risk! Yet back then the risk was small for the narcs were not looking for crops. Never grew more than 5 or 6. Never sold the buds. It was always decent pot . My southern state will be the last to legalize it. Can't even get legal medical cannabis.
You mean that "special" history of centuries of war? Europe came into it's own when they had economic ties binding them together, which was an American idea, and brilliant.
I have never used it, just a choice I made at an early age, I could care less if people want to be stoned all day long, but there is no denying the tremendous uptick in homeless in Colorado since it was legalized. You can hardly walk downtown Denver without getting high from residual smoke. i know I know, a lot of responsible people need their fix, but it has certainly made the losers happy.
Regarding homelessness and its causes, you see correlation as causation. That is a very narrow and inaccurate view.
You seem to be forgetting something as reliable as the sun rising. I am never wrong about anything, not ever.
OK - I give up ... who can equal someone that knows everything What is it we were talking about again ? .. before you wafted into fantasy land .. can't remember ..
"More than 100,000 new residents flooded the state in 2015, when it was reported to be short 15,000 homes. Legal cannabis isn’t the only reason for the mass migration to Denver – accessible healthcare and low unemployment also help – though there’s no doubt it is boosting the economy." The rise of pot tourism has led to people using homes for B&Bs and Air Bnb(it's that new thing, not sure of the name). That would eat into the available housing stock, which was already lower than demand when pot became legal. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/feb/27/marijuana-legal-homeless-denver-colorado
Same here. One of my acquaintances had a business trip to Denver a few years ago, when he got home, he was appalled by the number of potheads that were roaming the streets. Perhaps marijuana could be used to quiet the antifa and blm riots before they get started - mayor sees a crowd gathering, sends in a few bales of weed, they all get high and sit around giggling. Might save some businesses and buildings and assaults on the innocent.
Its a double game. East Europe has equal to lose because of the integration, mainly because of the takeover of their markets by dominant western players ensured by leveling the access to the EU mass market. There is also the brain drag that is killing the eastern EU nations. EU money usually dont go directly into the nation's budget but are separate fonds, mostly used by infrastructure or research, not citizens' welfare. This is by design The dutch benefit by Poland having better roads, in the grand scheme of things, even if you don't see the ROI. There is some wrong with the EU, but eastern's inclusion in the union is not.
