My views of the Qur'an are not limited to that.
The Qur'an is Jibberish, written on a 3rd grade level, goes in and out of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd person, you never know who you are talking to. It is bastardized verses from other religions, There are 2 of them, and people are not warned.
It's not in chronological order, and people are not warned the correct way to read it.
There are lots of reasons why the Qur'an is total garbage.
Not only is the Qur'an garbage, it is the center of a religion that claims it is from God, and you have to obey it, punishable by death.
And it is only the center for the mindless sheep.
The sunnah is the center for the scholar, and the people in charge.

Oh, good lord. The Qur'an is written as poetry - it's perhaps the most impressive piece of poetry ever written, regardless of what you think of the meaning.

Suggesting there is commonality with the Bible is just recognition of the obvious. The Qur'an is the writing of a later prophet who fully accepts the Bible. Besides, the various religions have elements in common.

No, your "punishable by death" thing is true only for a handful of radicals.

The Sunnah is certainly important. But, I don't know why you're mentioning that here. Islam doesn't consider Sunnah to conflict with the Qur'an.

Oh get serious, the Qur'an is dictated from God, and is not poetry.
It can be said as poetry, but it is written for another reason.
Punishable by death is in "ALL" sects.
and the sunnah is more important than the Qur'an.
The Qur'an keeps the sheep in line.
The sunnah speaks of the formation of the religion, and the adventures of the main players.

Nope.. All three have the same god. Muhammed's sermons usually began, "Save yourselves. I cannot save you. Return to the God of Abraham".

You miss a lot as an internet expert.

    You're hopeless.

The Jews invented the God, it is theirs, they have the patient on it.
The Christians stole the God, added more Gods to it, changed the rules, and turned on the Jews.

The Muslims stole the God from the Christians, eliminated the Christian Gods.
Instilled their own prophet, changed the rules again, and turned on the Christians and the jews.

Now God is either a wishy washy Schizophrenic, who just cannot make up his mind.
    Or they are different Gods.

The Christians "DO NOT" accept the Muslim God.

No, it actually is poetry. It can be poetry and still convey the message it was intended to convey. Had the Bible been written as poetry it wouldn't be a detraction. And, the Bible isn't without poetry - Psalms, Song of Solomon, etc.
    Whatever.

(Of course, you left off the possibility of there not actually being a God.)

It seems far better to recognize that these are differences of interpretation.

Modern era wars are more explainable in political terms rather than religious terms.

The people involved in these religions, generally believe there is a God.

If you would like to become prepared to play a major role in assisting Muslims and Christians to understand each other.... .I would highly recommend this book..... especially pages 107 to the end.

Some critical details about the life and death of Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus are there in pages 137 - 170 that could lead to decreased hostilities between Muslims and Christians........... and then Christians would be better able to convince Muslims that it is NOT their duty to attempt to organize genocide against the Jewish people!

    Hint:

    https://whyahmadi.org/claims-of-promised-messiah/death-of-jesus-according-to-the-holy-quran.html

Hint #2.... details are given in that near death experience account that address the number one cause of persecution of Jews.... by Christians.... and by Muslims......... over these last 18 centuries. I was in awe for well over a year after reading this book......

In my opinion.... Bruce F. MacDonald Ph. D. should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for literature................ what he asserts can alter the world political and spiritual formula over the coming two to ten decades!

In my opinion.... Dr. MacDonald has even Winston beat!

I don't see that as having anything to do with the humanitarian atrocity being perpetrated by Israel today.

Can you state in a sentence of two how it does?

There certainly ARE clear paths to its solution readily available today. In fact, the US would probably have to do nothing more than back off and allow other major western actors to require that the atrocity stop.

To date, the US uses its powers of veto in the UNSC, its economic power, and it's military industry to ensure that Israel can continue its atrocity.

How does your guy suggest that can be ended next year?

The only solution to the Pall/Jewish problem is.
Eliminating the religion of Islam, or re-writing it.

If they made Islam illegal, and enforced it with the same brutality.

Most of their problems would melt away. countries would trust them, invest in them.
They could build a city of their own.

    This is obviously ridiculous.

Islam will change over time as has Christianity, Judaism, and other religions.

But, religion is not an excuse for perpetrating humanitarian atrocity.

We're already seeing Israel using extreme brutality in carrying out their assault on Palestinians.

That's the problem! I don't believe that MORE of the problem is going to make anything better.

The slaughter of Jews by Nazis didn't make anything better, obviously.

    That's absurd,
Islam cannot change, and to try is apostacy.

You cannot change the behavior, and orders, of Muhammed, it is documented.

Christianity never had written orders from God to kill non, believers.
People in charge abused the religion for personal reasons, but the writings stayed the same.

Islam is different where the religion, and big Mo himself, orders the killing of the non-believers.

The same is true for Christianity, and Christianity has changed over time.

Obviously, religion is stated in absolutes tied to a higher power that may not be questioned.

    That makes change slower.

We had a revolution where we made strong statements about what forms justification for humans to go to war - even against their own government.

No it is not, you're just making sh-t up.
We still have the original writings of Christianity, written in Greek.
Jesus and Muhammed are polar opposites.
    Jesus never killed anyone,
Muhammed was a murderer, thief, slave trader, rapist, and a slew of other adjectives,
    Jesus did none of that.

The primary source of Genesis is in Hebrew and Aramaic. But, those are not considered to be the original text.

The original writings that now constitute the Bible were written in a number of languages.

I don't believe you are going to change Islam (or Christianity) by claiming Jesus was "better" than Muhammed.

    LOLOL

Are you just acting dumb or is this real.

    Christianity was written in Greek

And you are not going to change it. Islam cannot change, and the only answer will ultimately be war.

When you say "Christianity was written in Greek" perhaps you mean that the new testament was written in Greek.

But, there are parts of the old testament that were written in other languages.

What do you think Christianity is.

    Dude.
If you are going to argue about religions, I suggest you learn something about them first.

The OT is Jewish, written long before Christianity. was even thought of.

I've never heard anyone suggest that Christianity is limited to the New Testament.

It's true that the new testament describes a new way of reaching heaven.

But, that doesn't deny the old testament nor does it change the god of the Bible.

That's why you need to learn about religions before you try to argue about them,

The New Covenant ushers in Jesus Christ, and a whole new set of rules
The OT is nothing more than a history book of times past.
    Now you,

Let he who has not sinned, cast the first stone,
    Love thy enemy.

    A whole different religion.

I doubt theologists would suggest there are two religions.

Again, remember that Christianity does not view god as having changed. Thus any and every truth about god in the old testament still holds - according to Christianity.

Sorry, Yes, God changed his mind.
Judism and Christianity are two different religions, regardless of what you think.

And BTW, even the Jews don't follow the old laws.

The event of Christianity, and the changing of the laws and behavior,
Is exactly what Islam needs, however it cannot happen in Islam.

They wrote in that Muhammed is the last prophet, and the religion cannot change.

So the thieving, murdering, pervert, Muhammed, will always be the basis of the religion.
