Are Trump rallies drawing 10X as many people as Hillaries?

Thank you.... I haven't read his stuff yet.....but you are correct...... he was greatly influenced by Carl Jung.... who had a near death experience... .so many of his theories parallel my own:

The investigation conducted into people voting who should not have been allowed to vote was made by a Trumpette.

He closed the investigation when he could find nothing of the kind - after loudly claiming this was some sort of big deal.

Yet, people keep saying (and perhaps even BELIEVING) the same bull **** year after year - that aliens (or ??) are voting when they shouldn't be allowed to do so.

What we need is democracy. What we're getting is partisan officials selectively denying democracy to those they view as the opposition.

    That's not democracy. That's crime.

One of the only political demonstrations I have ever went to was when a bunch of us in RESIST went to Andy Harris's office to express our displeasure with his stand on health care. I met several others in a parking lot to go on buses we had chartered so we would have a coordinated effort. I knew everyone from my own group and several people from others and that was not an uncommon experience. Yet Harris went out of his way to say he "knew" we were all Soro's Hirelings. This kind of really silly conspiracy theory bull feces has to STOP, it is false, it is insane and it is very dangerous to our Democracy.

It's propaganda and the GOP has been spending millions on getting it out there in TV ads and who knows which other platforms. The MSM will not report on the exorbitant amount being spent on these TV ads because they do not want to cut into the enormous profit they receive for running them. Catch 22 at the expense of the American people maybe? Also, let's not forget than thanks to the GOP crime syndicate and the activist SCOTUS any foreign entity can donate money to American elections...thanks to Citizens United! Just what the founders envisioned... And the right wingers become all righteous when The Constitution is mentioned...Ha! Don't forget to stand for The National Anthem you nitwits.

Conservative hatred for Soros is strange. While I don't like his support for Leftist causes in the US, on the world scale, he does good work: his 'Open Society' initiatives are the bane of dictators everywhere. So balancing one against the other, he gets a pass.

Conspiracy theories often have a grain of truth. Of course there are powerful people -- Soros, the Koch Brothers -- and of course they don't broadcast everything they do to the whole world, but it's usually a sign of lazy thinking to blame events on some conspiracy.

I was once hitchhiking through Eastern Texas and got picked up by a young woman who told me that there was proof that JFK was a Communist, because on the half-dollar with his portrait, if you looked closely at the collar, there was a hammer and sickle!!! I needed the ride so I just nodded and changed the subject. But I looked later ... and she was right! Or rather, if you're myopic and/or deranged, the little whatever on his collar might look like a hammer and sickle.

Nothing wrong with protesting. It's when they stop the RW speakers from speaking at all that they cross the line, no matter where they come from.

There is a grain of truth ... just a grain ... in some 'conspiracy theories' involving demonstrations, or any organized effort, such as the Civil Right movement in the South, which segregationists blamed on 'outside agitators'.

They were right, in a sense. Conditions were such in the South that it required people from the North to help get things moving. So Rosa Parks was trained and inspired by the leftwing (left Christian) Highlander Folk School, and had attended meetings of the Communist Party with her husband. And financing for the Civil Rights movement came in large part from the North. But so what? If Southern Blacks had not been oppressed, they wouldn't have needed any outside help.

And today, the first thing thrown at any democrat who is courageous enough to stand up for decency in Russia or Iran or similar horrible places , is "You're being paid by a foreign power."
And sometimes they are, or are at least inspired by foreign powers which are not ruled by tyrants.

And any demonstration has to have organizers, a few people who get together and work out plans for it. We're not an ant colony or flight or starlings ... we're necessarily hierarchical.

So during the Iraq War, the two major anti-war organizations -- International A.N.S.W.E.R. and 'Not in our Name', were started by the Marxist Workers World Party and the Stalinist-Maoist Revolutionary Communist Party, respectively. But if a lot of people had not opposed the war, these groups would have gotten nowhere.

That's the fine line, but bussing protesters in who don't even know who they are protesting is coming close to the line. Simply because you're taking away peoples ability to think for themselves.

Any RW'er that did that I would also condemn, the right is far from innocent in this matter but they're in different ballparks in relation to scale at the moment I think.
