Simple question, asking only for a simple answer. But, please elaborate in your response if you wish. You will be allowed to change your vote.

There won't be any NHL hockey games going on at the same time that I would be interested in, but, if there's ANYTHING else to do on February 4th, I'd rather be doing it than watching Tom Terrific in another boring, commercial-stuffed waste of time, I'll eat my guacamole dip doing it instead.

Who dreamed up the idea of a halftime show with Justin Timberlake in it? What total bring-down after Lady Gaga's magnificent performance in the last Superbowl show.... Timberlake? Really?! Half-wit Millennials now make up the majority of the Superbowl-watching audience...?

Nope. Nothing in this year's Superbowl for me.... But, it's the perfect ending to a season full of way too many interruptions of every kind, plus the idiotic, America-hating spectacle of the BLM-injected "guerrilla theater" tactics and propaganda. Been there, puked when I saw it, don't want any more of it....

I don't like either team, I especially don't like Tom Brady, I don't like ten million commercials, and I don't like BLM. No I'm not watching this superbowl. And I'd rather watch dog porn than Justin Timberlake.

Nope. The game has gone too far away from that which i grew up with, played and loved. I haven't watched ANY games for 4 years now and I don't really miss it. Jack Lambert called it some 40 years ago when he said they should put skirts on the quarterbacks. They may as well put skirts on the rest of them as far as im concerned.

I'd have to be some kind of liberal pervert to want to see up Tom Brady's skirt! And how about Justin Timberlake?

[IMG]. Oh, joy! The White Millennial's answer to Michael Jackson? No Superbowl for me.... :puke:

Like many football fans, I am jealous of the unprecedented Belichick/Brady success, and am inclined to snivel about it.

Still, especially in the era of free agency and salary caps calculated to achieve parity, the dynasty has been incredible.

One striking statistic from FiveThirtyEight: Since 2001, the year that Tom Brady took over as starting quarterback, the Patriots are 15-0 in the playoffs against a new opponent and 12-9 in a rematch from the regular season.

If you encounter Belichick's formula once, you are far more likely to break the code.

There was no choice given for oh hell no. In my 67 years I have never watched even one super bowl. I haven't even watched any football games after I graduated high school, even then I went to pick up girls only.

Many folks, myself included, are jealous of the incredible endurance of the Patriots' dynasty, but it too shall pass, so the sniveling and sulking won't last forever.

The reality, for better or worse, is that the "Super Bowl" draws the largest audience of television viewers year after year. Apparently, a surfeit of vapid hype notwithstanding, it is extremely popular.

New England has thwarted NFL rules to create parity (that the suits assume equates with popularity, ergo profit), but they have never been in a boring Super Bowl under Belichick. They’re seven for seven as engaging entertainment.

    It remains a huge moneymaker.

I started losing interest in the NFL a few years ago when they started changing so many of the rules and had so many interruptions. The games have always had a lot of commercials but now there are a lot more commercials everywhere else too. You can't get away from them no matter how many time you change the channel. I guess its because the economy is better and everybody is trying to make a buck so they advertise more. Anyway, I can't think of two teams I would rather watch less than these two. The Patriots again? That's like eating oatmeal ten days in a row. I'm sure I can find something else to do and I will.

I don't even know who Justin Timberlake is. Is he a big star or something?

After this though...next season might be time to let some other teams get a "we all won" participation NFL ring though. Get rid of the superbowl and points...just let every team score a touchdown and get a happy ribbon.

Port is a huge moneymaker too, I would rather sit through port than the super bowl.

If and when these pro sports team owners ever build and pay for their own cathedrals instead of turing to socialism for their funding? I may consider watching their product.

NOPE! Not watching. Living in Minnesota and hearing about it constantly for a year I hope it's 30 below zero with a huge snowstorm .....and all volunteers have their heads examined.

I don't think I'll get either wish but I for sure won't watch......

It's like the opium of religion, meant to distract the masses, mass hypnosis making the rich richer....

I don’t really care about sports. If anything, I’ll watch the half-time show and then turn the TV off.

Well said. The Vikings had a problem: They never strayed from the game play the week before. The Eagles were able to prepare better because the Vikings didn't change things up. Needless to say, Bill always changes up his schemes and you never know who will be getting the love that day.
