That is pure negative naysaying about Trump. Question is, can she get her own democrats to create this as law? She may find she can't get them to approve it.

The children do get kidnapped in Guatemala or Mexico for sure.
Democrats could have proposed your ideas. But this is not what they want.

E verify is law. What is wrong with the law?

That is far too little fencing. We have citizens currently adding a lot of fence. They care.

Democrats were for a wall before they were against it

Re Trump... watch and learn... this goes against his new "plan" of having most asylum seekers not even attempt USA asylum...

Re dems, we'll see what happens.. And I need to see more before I fully approve as well.... Democrats don't like to vote for laws they haven't read in full (Cough Tax Scam Bill Cough)...

To me, it seems the key factor is WHO is doing the asylum interviews... people trained in understanding migrant issues, or Trump appointees?

Sinema, D-Ariz., joined a bipartisan group with eight other senators who sent a letter Wednesday to acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan describing their proposed program, dubbed "Operation Safe Return."

They'll have the chance to make their case during a meeting with McAleenan in the coming weeks.

The program would allow the Department of Homeland Security to deport certain migrants within 15 days, according to the letter, and would help alleviate overcrowding at border facilities, Sinema said.

Well Democrats certainly voted for the unread ACA.

Trump has made his plans clear.
    Fence them out
Stop them at points of origin
So few qualify for actual asylum, she is correct to fast track them back to their own points of origin.
Trump has a huge number of Obama hires manning the borders. Do you trust them? They want more fences.

Well Trump managed to kidnap a couple of thousand before the public uproar stopped him.
Pretty funny. The democrats did sign up for my ideas. It was Jon Bohner that killed the bill you mention in your link.
And no, e-verify is not mandatory, and it won't be until we make the 11 million illegals legal. Business simply won't stand for it.
And the 350 miles was new wall. Another 350 of other fencing.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/opin...36fa44b80ba_story.html?utm_term=.8176cc8f707d

So you see we are not against walls, we are against half measures.

But not to worry. I think after the first of the year Nancy will pass a very similar bill and pass it on the Mitch. :)

Posters are alleged to be credible if they provide any hint of proof. I want yours.

E verify is mandatory provided the employer has above a particular number of workers.

She is a Senator and her only move to date is to send a letter to the man in charge of the illegals. She needs to get Schumer to agree and work on Nancy.

This is not a proposed law.. this is using existing laws in a new way... she doesnt need to get any other D's on board for any reason..

If some sign on of their own accord, that's fine..

I've been reading a bit more about this proposal, and many people dont think expediting on this basis is going to do much good, but it probably can't make things much worse either..

Is the Democrats' wall of unreason on illegals cracking? Kyrsten Sinema breaks ranks

Her proposal on ending asylum abuse is the first sign of statesmanship seen in ages from a Democrat Party engulfed in craziness.

The program is not mandatory for all employers nationwide, but 20 states have enacted legislation requiring its use by at least some employers (Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, and West Virginia). In addition, the federal government and almost all federal contractors are required to use it. Of the states with mandates, most have required state agencies and their contractors to use it, but do not extend the mandate to private employers. Four states (Alabama, Arizona, Mississippi, and Tennessee) require all employers to use E-Verify.

Wot? We all agree that barry built cages for children and made them sleep on the floor, and then turned over more than 1000+ kids to human trafficers. obozo absolutely did something to some people.

Pleasant Surprise. We need more legal action in support of our immigration laws.

    The Albuquerque Journal reported,

"SANTA FE – A federal immigration agency sought direct access to New Mexico worker and employer records last week, but permission was ultimately denied by a Cabinet secretary in Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s administration.

"The repeated requests from an El Paso-based U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement official came just days before ICE agents raided several food-processing plants in Mississippi and reportedly arrested more than 600 individuals believed to be working in the country without authorization."

The governor is aiding and abetting crime. New Mexico must comply with this request.

    Sue.

Uhhh.... seems like she does what she thinks is right for her state regardless of what Schumer, who has never stood for election in Arizona, prefers.

ANNALS OF LEFTIST AUTOPHAGY: Arizona Democratic Party will hold vote to censure Sinema.

“The Arizona Democratic Party is planning to hold a vote this week to determine whether Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) should be censured. The Arizona Republic reports the censure vote is due to the fact that progressives in the state Democratic Party see her as too accommodating to President Trump and his policies.”

During the election she was pitched as a moderate aisle-crosser. Nobody meant for her to actually be one.
