“The $100 million Ark Encounter biblical theme park with a life-sized Noah's Ark replica, and its sister institution, the Creation Museum, have finished No. 1 and No. 2 respectively in USA Today's 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards for 2020.

The Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum received the most readers’ votes from a list of the top religious museums in the nation as selected by a panel of top travel experts.”

This in my opinion is great news! Thanks go to USA Today and The Christian Post for this news story. Both of those museums are great places for families to go and spend time where entertainment coincides with education and science.

It’s great that museums, galleries, and attractions with a rational theistic reason for being are being given the media attention of these articles. The religion of atheism centered ones get plenty of attention already.

When the corona vilus dies back we're going to Cave In the Rock, IL, do some canoeing on the Eel river (river of the snakefish), IN, and head for the ark in KY.

Sounds like a fun trip. They said in the news conference yesterday that travel within the USA is safe, low risk. We can’t let that virus damage our economy.

I decide for me and mine, and totally rule this roost. I decide when and if we go on half rations. We've prepared for the worst hoping for the best, and can go for four months without going into town, without going outside of the surveyor's stakes.

Still a bit chilly to head north anyway.

Atheism, by definition is not a religion. And museums are about history and artifacts. The reason normal museums get more attention is they are based on actual history with actual historical artifacts. The creation museums is not.

There were no dinosaurs on the ark. If any were still around the flood was their extinction moment. I know some creationists disagree but that’s my belief.

If Noah built an ark to hold all the animals, either he would still be building the and/or the animals would still be embarking on the ark.

This belongs in the religious section.

Only two of each type of most animals boarded the ark and seven of each that were clean to be human food did. The rest drowned in the flood.

I thought I heard the owner of this place was having some pretty significant money troubles over the past few years and the museum wasn't doing nearly the business they thought it would. I figured it would have closed it's doors by now.

Oh well, good for them that they are still open and doing well it seems.

I find the entire premise of this place to be genuinely comically hilarious, I watched a thorough walkthrough of it on Youtube back before they banned filming in there. Have to say I seriously laughed out loud and not very many things actually make me laugh at out in real life.

But I am 100% supportive of folks doing with their money whatever they please and am 100% in favor of Freedom OF Religion and not Freedom FROM Religion.

And if folks want to take their kids to see "science" that says humans put saddles on baby Triceratops' like the Flintstones then by all means....

Glad this place is doing well and if it makes folks happy then good on them.

With your canoe, float the Blue River in Indiana. Fredericksburg to the Ohio river. It's beautiful with caves. The Ark is the best!

All of them must have had pretty good timing to show up at the ark just in time to embark. BTW, what about all the insects that are needed, especially bees.

no there isn't. there is no evidence what so ever that supports anything in the creation museum. Good lord, they have humans riding on dinosaurs in there. Dinosaurs were completely extinct MILLIONS of years before the first ape began walking on 2 feet.

we also know for a scientific certainty, that there has never, at any time, been a global wide flood.
